If there's someone that wants my Ferrari space full time please feel free to take it busy on quite a few Sundays.

I would like to know the top speed of all the GT cars

I will test the Corvette myself and post the results

I have the results for the Corvette:

0-60: 5.754
0-100: 12.761
1/4 Mile:14.209
1 Mile:34.842
Top speed over 1 mile: 147.1

I also ran a full race distance at Laguna Seca this evening. 90 minutes passed really quickly. Fuel is not an issue, which is a relief.

Not a bad run.

Remember, it's 455 PP for the E Type. I don't want to have to go through another fiasco like the one I had to last time.

Laguna Seca
60 Laps / 132 Miles

After three weeks camped on sunny Daytona beach, it is time for WSC to move to part 2 of the American Dream - and Laguna Seca in California. Tight and twisty, this circuit demands concentration as sand traps will drag you off at every chance.

A Laguna Seca Hot Lap:
Full speed ahead across the line, through the kink known as Turn 1, into the Andretti Hairpin, a good exit from here is critical as you swing to the left and set yourself up for 3. 4 is a deceptive turn, one fraction of a second late braking and you are going to end spinning or stuck in the sand traps on the exit. All the way up to the sweeping 5, again, don't accelerator to early as the track angle will throw you wide onto the dirt. Hard on the rbakes and throw the car into 6 - similar to 4 in that it very easy to make a mistake and be sent spinning into the wall along Rahal Straight. Corkscrew next, stay right, hard on the brakes, through the center of the track as you drop left and right. BANG BANG BANG as the car bottoms out and reacts to the bumps, power down out wide on exit and bring it back to the right to take Turn 9, get this wrong and you going straight off with dirty tyres that will make Turn 10 very ugle for you. Final turn, sharp, slow, but you need a good launch for the start straight. Do it well 60 times and you might just win tonight.

Furi's Race Control Statement To Drivers:
All in my lobby again. For the pace lap, Pace speed is 50mph, single file until after Turn 11, where we will form double file for the start on the straight. Green flag at the start line..

Daytona was revenge of the GT drivers. They did nothing wrong. PT guys, cut down the aggression. Laguna's a narrow track, don't make a mistake, or consequences will be huge. So WATCH IT!

Best of luck to all, just please clear cache before we begin ;)

Wrong Piccy Alex

And there appears no notes on PT drivers NOT to draft the GT cars.

Also PT drivers must not take stupid risks in passing GT drivers. Last week was a joke and you should know better.

Has anyone got a Mk IV I can have? If not I need to get 20mil really quickly :P

You'll need to grind a '67 ticket. If not just run the highest paying seasonal you can find (with a 200% bonus you should be getting well over 1,000,000Cr per race). The NASCAR at Monza one is always nice and easy, especially if you run at a much lower PP (performance adjuster thing gives you even more credits). 👍

I won't be racing tonight, I've been drinking booze with some relatives. It's not like I had a chance in the GT Class, anyway.

Only now after a week are you concerned about not having a PT car

I was on holiday last week so I couldn't do anything about it. I got back just before the Carreras on Friday and then went to a party all day yesterday which meant I could do only one TOCA race. I also had a couple mates staying at mine until 4 so I've only had 1 an a half hours to try and get one :(

I think I might have to put my PT drive back a week :grump: :( :grumpy:

Did you not read what I said?:

You could have had 20mil within an hour just by doing the NASCAR Monza (or any other high paying) seasonal over and over.

Basically what I tried to say before I left (stupid stars) was how lag has completely ruined another night of racing. I'm not going to keep going round a track and get hit off by every car that gets near me.

:grumpy:

Joe DC's, Yera and Panoz fight to finish, and MJ pips me for 4th. Great race!

Disconnected around 5 laps from the end is really annoying especially after driving well.

Had to make 3 stops after making contact with fox after around 4 laps, then a routine stop on lap 27 then for the last 10 or so it was really laggy when others were by me and Snowcrash's car caught me when lagging and gave me damage around lap 40 or so.

Well, the race started with the protos going well over 50 mph on the straight way before the line. It caught me out, and the aggressive pack was on me and I was falling back in T1, and on exit I got a big hit from behind and sustained engine damage. Later a prototype dived in on my inside from way back in the very fast T6, spinning me, and a few laps later got nailed from behind by Jamsy under braking into the corkscrew. Not even half way into the race and I had enough. The Alpine was really hairy to drive here, if I tried to push too hard I would get costly oversteer or go wide. Shame, because I think I had my best ever qualifying lap in the series today, that 39.3 in the Alpine.

41.1 was my fastest with draft all around the track. 42.6 was a good lap from me, 4 seconds off the pace isn't funny really, but I guess it's not a Mustang track.
