None it appears, but it does seem for Eiger we are having a single file start as it has been judged that 8 rows of 2 leave a high chance of incident.

I think even changing class is a bit poo as well. Changing class because you can't handle a certain car is just a bit crap really.

I can handle the car! :P I drove HMS Jag for gods sake I think I can handle a Mustang! I'm just bored of going so slow :P

We might have a big PT contingent for Le Mans... Going to be entry based on priority by the way, championship standings will be a big factor in deciding...

Timetable change will stay, so GT spec checks 7.25pm from now.

If what I encountered in testing for Laguna Seca is any indication, the small-displacement GT cars could do the whole race on one tank of fuel. Not sure if the tires will last the full race distance, but they might. At least for the small-engine GT cars.

That is soul destroying news.

All cars will be one stopping I would think. None of the cars I've driven the last three seasons would be able to go the distance on medium tires.

As for the fuel, the big cars won't need to take on much fuel anyway, so I doubt that'll be an issue. I remember two years ago the Cobra and Corvette both did the race (when it was 50 laps, so 40-something for the GTs) fairly comfortably on fuel without stopping. If the big cars need fuel during their one stop, I doubt it'll be much.

The only time the fuel economy issue will be important is during the longer races (Daytona, LM, Spa), when the small cars will have shorter pit stops due to taking on less fuel.

189-192 kph for the Z28
Lap-time: low 39´s maybe I can get high 38´s but thats hard due to me already doing almost perfect lap ;)

No I mean on the test track.

I'm going to run the top speed over 3000 mts just under 2 miles

It's safe to say this was the moment I knew I wasn't going to get a good result

OUCH! :grumpy: Sorry lout! :ouch: That wasn't one of my more brilliant races and the Camaro will be in the garage this week for Laguna.

They don't need to

I'm just speculating on that, plus taking into account the speed and lap-rate (the rate at which the prototypes will lap the GT cars). When I tested my E Type at Laguna Seca, I got 15 laps in and the wear bar on the tires wasn't even at the 1/4 mark. So, it's gonna be close in that regard. Also, does anyone know how many laps the GT winner completed last year?

How many laps did the GT class do last season
:sly:

I appear to be only one here who is looking forward to Laguna

Personally I'd be looking back in the pack for Randy to fight with for track position, He wont be here this week, does that mean I can get more points?
