Turnaround race?

Well I've gone for the Subaru RFZB GT86-S.

It's not set-up at all, just race soft suspension. We'll see how it goes. Looks pretty though.

While I love my X-Bow set-up for sports tyres, I'm not liking it so much un-tuned on the CH's. But I'll give that a go too. :)

Great fun, thanks for having me tonight! Loved the combo, the FR-S felt right at home! :D:tup:
Hope i can attend more often, thanks @JockeP22 for the comfy club.
Thank you tarnheld. Good times at the Nordschleife. It goes without saying that
I enjoyed that race very much, right from the start until the end.

I have never quite experienced battling for the lead for so long with two other drivers before and we never touched.
We were tooth and nail for the entire two laps, Zolon, Dusty and I. Mostly Zolon and I separated by a tenth or two
for a lap and a half. My pulse was sky high. :dopey:
And you were trailing me close behind, too.

It was great fun and the car felt amazing.
So much so that I just had to post my tune for it.
It's easily my new favorite car and I wish that race could have gone on for another two laps.

It was extra fun to see that all three brands were represented on the 'podium', Subaru, Scion & Toyota.

Loved the combo
Full credit goes to @gkgamer for the car choices. I would have never thought of it myself.

Edit;
Eiger Result
1. Dusty 10 laps - FL
2. blue +4.84
3. Jocke +10.42
4. suts +14.41

The end result doesn't show how close the racing was for 1.5 laps.
I didn't have a good tune and had been practicing with a turbo then realised it was for NA only just before coming online. Anyway I ran out of skill quite early on.

@gkgamer should have beaten me but he kept falling back probably because he's racing in the middle of the night so hats off to you.
👍

Had great fun in the X bow. :cool:Thought I'd be rubbish but I managed to keep @Dustybin et al behind me for 5 laps until I got hit by some invisible force thanks to internet lag!!!:lol: I got minor damage long enough that I lost the lead then ran out of skill.

Close racing is what we need. Keep it up @JockeP22 👍:lol:

I'm not sure what was wrong with my internet yesterday. Slowly it logged on to PSN, slowly friends appeared, even slower their avatars. GT6 worked but I couldn't get into the community. A reboot of everything and it was just as slow. This time I couldn't get into the lobby because apparently I hadn't agreed to the terms and conditions! I thought it was time to give up at that point.

Slowish again today but it appears to be working. So I'm ready to race - oh hang on you've all finished. :)

See you next time.

This is exactly what happened to me around January which is why I stopped racing online. It just got better on its own but it took some time!!

Sorry you couldn't get on. Hope it gets better soon. 👍

While I love my X-Bow set-up for sports tyres, I'm not liking it so much un-tuned on the CH's.

The X Bow was excellent on the CH tyres. Provided really close racing as there was no tuning.
Hope to see you on next week.

Suggestion for future race:
Caterham 7, pp550, CS, 100%surface water, 100%weather
That sounds like a definite yes.

You know Zolon, I finished second to Dusty at Motegi
in one of the Toyota races. I have promised myself I
won't stop trying until the same thing happens again. :dopey:
What to do now, second to Dusty last week.
I don't have any other goals set.

Post #2 has been updated for this coming Tuesday (30th).
After that I won't be around to host Tuesday the 7th or the 14th
so the Club will become dormant for awhile. I'm going away in between
these three dates and after that I just might try some other
little project. : )

While you're reading this post I'll steal your attention by making you
aware of gamer's new garage. The leftovers' garage

How many of you have tried the new seasonal at Nordschleife with the Tomahawk?
Fun wasn't it? I thought I was going to need a straitjacket since all the DQ's for leaving the
track almost made me lose it, but eventually I pulled through and got that gold.

But there's no roof and my umbrella is broken!

Might give that one a miss! I've done the Willow one though. Might have another go to see if I can beat @MannYhAvitZ - nearly got him. ;)

The latest 580PP time trial was fun - got a chance to give an X-Bow a run out.

I can't even drive the Tomahawk through the first corner in the seasonal. There's no way I could ever complete a lap in it even with every assist on to the max. Also I don't want to change my controls because I use up on the d-pad for nitrous and that's near impossible to use while steering, especially on the other Daytona srt seasonal.

The only vision cars which were anywhere near driveable for me were the mini and vw hatch (haven't driven the roadster), most of them have terminal understeer and some like the srt have way too much power but that's probably the point. I love that Volkswagen though. It's probably one of my favourite cars in the game stock.

While I originally liked the idea, as each car seems to get more extreme the whole VGT project does seem to be taking GT away from being the "real driving simulator".

mini and vw hatch
Yes I agree, both (and the roadster) are good. Perhaps it's because they are nearer to a real car than some of the the others. There are a few oddities!

Surprisingly though I quite liked the Nissan VGT. To drive at least, it wasn't too fast and had just enough grip. Didn't like the look of it much though.

I think I will give it another try then lol... I Was working on a video in which I was required to drive the x2014 Fan car VS the SRT Tomahawk X at Nurburgring and at the end of the video I was able to finally drive clean Laps!! :embarrassed:

Guess who won? ;)

I thought it said New Burger King at first. I'll have a double cheese whopper please.

Very good @MannYhAvitZ . There wasn't much in it was there, a few hundredth. The RB probably had the edge on the roadholding, while the SRT reeled it in on the straights

Anyway, that's done my eyes in - trying to watch two screens at once. I now look a bit like my avatar.

You guys might not like what Manny and I are planning then (or might be planning).
I Was working on a video
Yes, I watched it when it had only been up on YT for 52 minutes. Couldn't believe the small difference in
lap time between them. 0.444 seconds. Impressive MannY. 👍
I now look a bit like my avatar.
And from my music. And from Harsk's rally conversation. And from the blue pill.
Anything I'm forgetting? :)

The photo attached is something I took earlier this evening while on my
way to the car going home. The balloon looked like it was going to crash
into the houses because it lost altitude quite rapidly and the pilot(?) seemed
to burn up a lot of fuel to get it rising again. Not often you see one these days.

At first glance that balloon looked a bit like my avatar.

Had I better stop deleting the VGT's from my garage then?

Go on Paul, give it a try
I might do when my eyes return to normal after watching Manny's video.

Hello chaps. I'm going on my holls for two weeks commencing tomorrow. Now, this is obviously good news for me, however, the wife gets super tense in the hours immediately before embarking on a holiday, and there is a chance that she'll be insisting that we check that everything is in order (for the fiftieth time) before we leave, rather than racing.

If I miss you tonight, have fun, and keep the action going won't you.

Cheers, Zo.
