Hey guys Sorry I have not updated things. The in-laws have been in town from the UK. They leave today so hopefully I will be able to sort things out and make some announcements shortly. Until then I leave you with my perfect garage for a 1875 total 1005/870 night.

And yes the Clio and Impreza are a few PP outside of the acceptable range for 435.

^ Thanks Ken. Test Line-up:

FF - Mini Cooper S '11 410pp
4WD - Ford RS200 '84 440pp
FR - Mazda Eunos Roadster '89 365pp
MR - Toyota MR2 6MT '02 385pp

Joby,
A few pp changes for the spreadsheet:

Lotus Elise '11 - 395pp
RE Amemiya GT300 '06 and the base model - 511pp
Alfa MiTo '09 - 388pp

OK.

I have updated the opening post and the spreadsheet. The next official race date is Tuesday Jan 7th. For January I would like to cut down the races to 15 minutes and start at 10:30. This is to limit the overlap with the existing SNAIL Kart races. The 15 minute races should still allow us to finish by 12:00.

I suggest we start using Thursday as practice nights in an open Lobby to try to recruit some new people but lets keep the Tuesday night event room private.

Do you guys have any opinions on using rolling starts instead of standing starts? It might give the FF cars a bit less of a handicap in the first lap and take away a bit of the 4wd/MR launch advantage.

I don't care about the starts too much. Is anyone free tonight? I may be able to race late tonight, maybe around 11 est

I wish I could. I may be online but likely after 12:00 your time (probably more like 1:00 am)

Isn't rolling starts single file?
I am not sure. I will try to find out. Would it effect your decision if it was?

I'd be free.

Edit: Just got really tired all of the sudden. No GT for me tonight.

10:30pm? I kinda liked the longer races as it kept us away from the sprint race do or die attitude of Sunday.

Is there a possibility of any of those guys migrating to us after their races are over?

Maybe have a test couple of weeks...if any of the Kart guys migrate to us after their races are over then 10:30pm is a good idea since it increases our numbers. If none of them come over then move it back to 10:00pm?

I am in for some racing tomorrow as a test race night at 10pm if anyone else is in?

I doubt our current start system makes much of a difference after 20mins. I think the standing start may unknowingly eliminate the problems of first turn pile ups since we use several different drivetrains. So keep as is?

I'm in for 10 tomorrow too Joe and I also don't want to start any later or shorten the races.

Edit:
So who's in for tonight at 10pm EST? Apricot Hill with the 750/850 split. I will message a couple of the guys who showed interest in the thread.

Joe I think you are on the right track about the next couple weeks.

Lets try as Joe suggests and hopefully we will either get fuller grids or go back to the normal length races.

@jobyone are you in for tonight?

@JoeW are you setting up the room?

Just got word my work is closed tomorrow due to snow so I will be down for some post racing too.
hmm. There is a slim chance I might make some of tonight but not the most likely. The spreadsheet is setup and ready to go. Looks like you should have at least 6 people. Have fun. And I will be online at some point tonight so I will keep an eye out for you

Sounds good. Ferrari Dino is 420pp.

Final Line-up:
FF - Spoon 422pp
4WD - Audi 428p
FR - Mazda 364pp
MR - Toyota 385pp

Good to hear. I have been updating the sign up sheet. It is now broken down in to two parts. One for each PP breakdown. You can choose any drivetrain in the columns now. I am working on a checker field that will make sure you do not have any drivetrain repeats. Hopefully it will make it a bit easier to select a lineup for the split PP format.
