I took some pics but i cant find my stupid thumb drive
I like this thread. Much more fun to read
Ha! You think so? I may be sensing some sarcasmSounds interesting Joby.
Thanks for the good read Joe. I'm pretty sure you single handedly added 8 people to SNAIL.
Hey guys I have been toying with an idea for a one time event and would love to see what you all think.
I call it:
100 HorsesThe idea is that the cars can have a maximum 100hp and a minimum weight of 900kg. Basic thoughts are that power can be limited by a maximum of 20hp and weight can not be added. Tuning is allowed although no power can be added to the cars. Below are two cars that would fit the requirements. The Demio would be my weapon of choice
That is correct except you can lighten the car by reducing weight. You can just not add ballast to bring the car up to weight. It is largely a starting point. We need to see if that power to weight ratio is fun. Then we can expand it out a bit to bring in more cars. Also I am not sure what tires to run so we will need to have a go on various tires and see what produces the best racing.Here's what I got out of Joby's idea and I think between Racefan and Tez it is correct:
Car must have 100hp max.
Car must have 900kg min.
No power can be added.
No weight can be added.
Power can be limited by 20hp.
All tuning besides weight and power can be done.
@jobyone , can you confirm?

I will keep that in mind as it is simpler.It might be a little more straight forward if you allowed power to be added and put a rule in that states, you may not run a car under it's stock power or over it's stock weight.
Just a thought. It was a rule I had when I ran a tuning series that was set at 433 HP and 1250 KG. It was great fun and there were a ton of cars to choose from.
I did some testing toward the end of GT5 at different HP/KG combos and found some levels, higher and lower, that had a lot of available cars when using the rule as stated above.
