Hey everyone, I hope you all had as much fun as me. The race was exciting when cars bunched up and I saw some clean battles with many of you. Great pace for the 86's and nice win. The Audi has nothing with long straights one after another. I would have had a better finish but the fuel went just a bit to quick for me. 50 liters was not enough.

Wow 50 liters was aspirational. I took 58 and barely made it. The battle we had was single handedly more fun than any of my z34 victories last season. Its always better to have a good battle or a close, tense race than to dominate. I feel bad for trick. I know how lonely it can be up there sometimes when you see positions changing back and forth and you are hot lapping like youve been doing all week.

Yea, you needed at least 55 liters.
I could manage a few competitive lap times in open air, but I as soon as I was in traffic, that long straight made me a sitting duck. I gained or kept up in the twisty sections, but everyone flew by me on the straight.
Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to next week. Unplanned business trip Tuesday night and Wednesday.

Its this strange place where you race for 45 minutes and pass and are passed with no contact whatsoever. Where people save fighting for position til the end of the race rather than fighting tooth and nail with 30 minutes to go and pit strategies yet to unfold. I swear its real but sometimes question if i am just dreaming it up as an online racing utopia.
Honestly though, its a good league where i am seriously outpaced and can learn from faster guys without being knocked around which is a nice change of pace for me.

Gotta say that nothing has ever remotely been as good as gt1 is. The different cars not being able to balance perfectly creates the perfect storm that allows for different people to compete season to season regardless of skill. I actually like that i am struggling in the 350z this season, i have never worked so hard at fine tuning the car to get the little bit extra i need. Seeing new people up front makes this series different than anything else out there.
