5)This is my research. To see what comes out of peoples imagination. I looked through the cars, but it's not just about the cars it's about the tunes also.

after my exhaustive search of approximately 250 cars, I have only found 4 cars that are not repeats or supercars/concept cars; they are:

a)MGF '97
b)BMW 2002 turbo
c)Rx7 '95 (very slow in corners and straightaways)
d)Mini Cooper S '11
I guess you never ran in a 450-500pp tuned car club before... because there's tons of cars that fit the bill.

The Elise 111R does not make the 1070kg required weight class for the pro drivers.
I have run lots of 400-500 pp series, its the weight classification that is tough to meet, for the pro drivers your car must be able to run at 1030Kg and then you add 40 Kg to the car to make it 1070Kg.
remember its 350hp at 1030Kg for the pro-am and 350 hp at 1070Kg for the pro drivers.

oh I'm cool, infact chilly up here lol (-3°c this morning):scared:
just trying to find a car and get it ready for next Wednesday, after today it's 5-12's in a row including Wednesday!
so no practice until Wednesday before the race and if I'm lucky I can make it for my Sunday race this weekend.

Right now I can't keep the FF cars from melting the front tires off, and can't keep either MGF's on the track
I am also struggling to make the BMW 2002 fast enough to run with the big boys up there at Deepforest in the 1:20's :nervous::odd::ill::eek::bowdown::gtpflag:

For all you guys new to tuning @DesertPenguin09 found this online somewhere, And I felt it would be a great share for all of us.

Transmission Flip
1.) Final Gear to maximum (all the way right)
2.) Max Speed to minimum (all the way left) (birdy edit: you don't have to set all the way to minimum it could cost you on longer tracks)
3.) Highest Gear to maximum (all the way right – probably rounded)
4.) 2nd Gear to about 80% left (example: for a range of 1.915 to 2.427 I pick 2.000)
5.) For gears 3rd through highest, make relatively even spacing between gears. I tend to leave a little more space between 2nd, 3rd and 4th than I do between 4th, 5th and 6th. If you look closely at my settings you will see that the gear lines get slightly closer as you move from left to right (1st to 6th).
6.) Set top speed through Final Gear, not Max Speed. Do not touch the Max Speed adjustment at any time past step two. Use the Final Gear setting to achieve just before redline on the longest straight.
7.) Set first gear. If for rolling starts I tend to move this slider to the right and match my even spacing. For standing start racing you will need to test out a few. I have been burned a few times in online racing for having these settings too far left. For standing starts, 1st gear may need to be much further to the right. When you have the launch you are looking for, you will then need to go back and even out all of the gears again.
8.) Further optimize the gearbox for a specific track. You may find that a 2nd, 3rd or 4th gear shift is in a bad spot, mid-corner or right before a braking zone. Re-adjust these gears to optimize for the specific track. For example, if the car wants a 2nd to 3rd gear change just before the exit of a key corner, move the 2nd gear slider to the left and re-adjust the spacing of the other gears. Or, for example, if you are nearing a shorter straight section and find the need to shift from 4th to 5th right before a braking zone, move the 4th gear slider to the left then re-adjust the spacing of the other gears.

ok I think I got it, just a couple of quick questions to make sure:
1) can a use a car that the Pro-am's are using, or are we running no repeats at all?
2) is the TVR's considered a supercar? or just exotic sports cars?

You can repeat if you want and The TVR (not speed 12) is fine, however aren't all the tvr's 5 speed?

Fellas I might be back soon… so Birdy it does indeed feel weird being on the asking side but does the BMW 135i Coupé '07 work?
Edit: weight is a no go

The S2000 works for Pro class though. What about it?

You can add the S2k and '02 RX-7. @Die_Birdy_Die i suggest a 10 kg weight addition just to open a few more cars to the series.
So 1040 and 1080?
That's my suggestion and since I still have some stake in this series:D Hopefully @Die_Birdy_Die will take my advice and do this:)
Why not spread it out further? 1040 and 1100?
I honestly don't know. Birdy should explain that to me
Next season...maybe scorpion might have his own Bird if I start playing with it now lol

As for why I picked the range I did I bought 6 cars that interested me and set them all up at various hp/weights. this was the best balance for the group.(I've been playing with the field since taking over). As for why I left it open only 2 of the cars that I actually tested were picked and 1 is my own!(no I'm not telling what they were lol).

Ok whatver you say Birdy. And also for your info I am back and can get stuff done around here
Ok

I haven't really done anything with the docs minus doing the data so if you want to put in the drivers list stuff go ahead.
