Since no one is on the SPEC enduro thread, can i post here that i want to join them?

You should still post over there that you'd like to join. It's not as if anything needs to be done. There is no longer a time trial required and you already have access to the D2 lounge. All you have to do is just show up and race! 👍

Ok, i thought that there was a time trial, so this got awkward :scared:

I choose:

Number: 22
Car Colour: Galaxy White Pearl
Wheel Colour: The default colour for the Advan RGII wheels (light brown)

Edit: At what times do you race on sundays?
Also, reading the rules, when retiring from a race, how do I turn on the emergency brake?

I have to admit, I never have figured out that one - or remember what button it is.

When in doubt, pull all the way off the track, and if you leave your car (aka... the controller for your car), be sure it will stay there. Find a hill that slopes into a wall, even just a little bit, and you'll stay in place.

The rule is to prevent drivers from walking away and having a car 'wander' onto the track.

To leave the hand brake on, you just hold the button for a few seconds. Then when you release the button, it will stay on.

The best way to leave the track...

Get at the pit entrance and push the start button. This way, you will go into the pits and stay in your stall. You won't leave your stall until you hit the start button again, or the race ends.

Exceptionally difficult day at work, followed by a home grilled, double cheeseburger with bacon, onion rings, avocado, BBQ sauce, ice cold beer!! Man, now I am ready to do some ra....... ZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZz...

I looked at your post at page #65, zer05ive. Accordingly, all events start at 10PM Eastern time. Skills sent me a private message informing me about the race time. Since I am located in Iceland, the events would be starting at 3AM GMT +0 time for me.

I am afraid I will not be able to make it at that time and if there are no races at a more convenient time for Europeans, I will have to cancel my request to join S.N.A.I.L.

I have also found hamburgers to be more effective than sleep medication.:)

Okay, no problem. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm going to try to improve my fortunes, a little bit. ;-) In 26+ racing 'seasons' (Sundays), I've not peformed consistently nor performed well, with only an occasional glimmer of a podium to reflect my uneven and usually uninspiring finishes. After such a long stretch, I can no longer blame my mechanics, nor the owner, though that may debateable, nor the track.

At this point, I think I have to hope to grab onto some coattails and wish for some luck.

At least for now, I'm going to change my number and colors to

Car: Burgundy Metallic
Rims: Soleil Gold Metallic
Number: 10

I would love to join if you are still accepting new members!

Hi mhlas7,
Yes, we still have some open spots. Here's what you need to know and do in order to join (if you hurry, you'll be able to start tonight!):

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the S.N.A.I.L. OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You run the Time Trial. (NOTE: The tires selected for this have more grip than our current tire regulations allow, but please follow the directions exactly anyways).
2. You PM me with your time from the time trial (no Sunday racing until this is completed).
3. I assign you to the division that I fell will give you the closest competition.
4. I send you a you a PSN friend request from the corresponding SNAIL_Division1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 account. That PSN account's lounge is where you will race on Sunday night.
6. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

The original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.

Please note that we often race DLC from three add-on packs:

Racing Car Pack
Course Pack
Twin Ring Motegi Pack

If you don't have these add-on packs, you will need to sit out the races in which they are used.

If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, post your choices in this thread.
To avoid duplication, the currently claimed combinations can be found here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.

Welcome to S.N.A.I.L.

RG3 ftw!

HTTR!!

So my wheel started messng up while I was practicing this morning. It's a g27 and it just started to make a weird chunk noise when I turn right. Each time it goes 'chunk' it feels like the force feedback let's off and jumps a couple of teeth. I can race with it tonight, but I really don't want to ruin someone else's race because of it. it does seem a bit coincidental that it's messing up today, so if you want, I can turn onmy mic and let you hear it.
