2009 Singapore Grand Prix

Alonso made my day. Great driving skills, and he uses lots of oversteer on this track. I think it's at this track, when people push, or overdrive, you can see it the clearest.

It was pretty funny though, Stewart commentating, he commentated Vettel's lap as if he was making mistakes all of the time, and really had to go for it next lap. At the end of the lap, he set the fastest time of the day.

Anyone think that Fisi might score some points here? Or is he still learning the car?

Doesn't look good for Ferrari this weekend, so I think no. I even doubt if Kimi get in the points.

Its still only friday man, ferrari wern't in the top of the list the last few races at friday....and you know they did pretty well on sunday...(i meen only Kimi ofcourse...:sly:)...

Lets see tomorrow after quali and after the weights have been published...than we know more...

I wouldn't be surprised if Kimi would get onother podium on sunday aswell...👍

spyrrari.

Am I the only one who thinks the Singapore track looks way, way better in the daylight? You can see the city aspect a lot better with the motorway overpass, etc and it feels more street-like. Whereas at night it turns into a dull concrete track like Valencia, as the darkness obscures most of the features.
Yes, the night lights are nice but I think the circuit looks way more lively in daylight.

A shame in my mind.

Yeah, I like the dusk shots from FP1 highlights that I had seen better than full night. I really think Sepang would look great at night instead of Singapore.

Dear lord, you'd think they'd realise by now they're not going to get Bernie to say anything he doesn't want to say.

That interview made me want to hide.

Definitely hurt... unless Rubens runs ultralight and Jenson accidentally stuffs it into the barriers right after his pitstop.

Just sayin... maybe Grosjean will do it for him, if he asks nicely.

Or maybe they could go and find Piquet to do it

Anyone else agree with me and Brundle that that chicane and turn 10 doesnt look right?

Unbelievable... Rubens gets a huge gift from Jenson and gives it back to him again.

Assuming the team can even fix his car they will probably have to break the parc ferme rules so he'll start from the pitlane if at all.

Championship over.

Nah - they usually can put a car back together in a morning - it's happened a couple of times this season...

The irony is - Rubens putting it into the wall means he could've had a free gearbox change - and then he'd be 5th on the grid!!

It doesn't matter how you break your gearbox, changing it before running 4 races will give a penalty.

Not if you write it off in a crash...

Brawn said in the post race interview - that the new gearbox would need to be changed as he hit it hard... he's not getting 2 5 place grid penalties for that is he?

Another loopy Qualy session, great job by Rosberg, I had a feeling he could have got pole.
Jenson has it hard again but with Rubens only 2 places ahead of him its once again a case of his closest rival doing the worst out of the 3.

I look forward to a possible Williams podium and a few more turn 1 dramas.

Hmmm... It does looks like trouble for Heidfeld :( He's the lightest of the two BMW and if he couldn't get pass Glock and Alonso, he'll be in deep trouble!!!

On the other hands, I think Lewis is lying on the sofa :D

To be fair to some of those drivers, we don't really know their true pace with those fuel loads because they couldn't finish their second laps because of Rubens crash.
For all we know Rosberg, Vettel or anyone else could have beaten Lewis.

Button has a good chance to gain some positions with that fuel strategy though especially if many of the top 10 are held up by someone.

Lewis looks like he's got this...

Hold up vettel whilst heavy - then cain him whilst he's in the pits...

Job done.

Yes - but they could've got it done on the first lap - they had much less fuel than lewis - yet he put down the lap time...

They all had 1 shot - they didn't realise it - but they did - and Lewis put the best lap in - with a lot more fuel...

Yeah I know about that... Lewis could be beaten by Rosberg or Vettel perhaps any other drivers on the grid... But for now, according to the weight and fuel load, he is on a sofa... Just have to wait till tomorrow for my coverage where they also calculate the amount of laps with the weight before the first pit stop...
