2010 Formula One Canada Grand Prix

Well, for the title hunt, a win from Kubica, Massa or Rosberg would be good. I doubt Mercedes will be in contention this weekend though and Ferrari and Renault will have to hope McLaren and Red Bull screw up.
I think the Renault has got good pace though and its not crazy to think Kubica may be up there this weekend. Petrov showed last race that Renault are no slouches this year and are threatening Mercedes for 4th in the constructors.

I don't want to predict a winner or podium though, Canada is just too crazy normally. Sutil would be another fantastic winner.

Ardius:
Why hope for safety cars here? This is one of the good tracks!

Just clarifying Ardius :)

I do not hope for safety car incidents; I just am predicting the number, as Montreal always produces excitement 👍 (safety car, or not) which sometimes results in a safety car.

Whatever happen, I still want Kubica to win here again. Just hoping Renault to give him the best car possible and we all know he's very talented so no doubt, 2008 repeat is going to be lovely.

Owkey clearly, I just don't want to see McLaren or RB win the race. I'm getting tired of seeing them winning races from start of the season until last 2 weeks ago... Finger crossed!

EDIT: Safety car will come out in the race. I mean, this is Montreal and anything can happen ;) My prediction at least 2.

I am prediction a win for Kubica, followed by Button and then Webber for the rostrum finish.
Vettel and Hamilton into champions wall.

I'll be going to this race. I'm in Toronto and don't feel like spending a load on hospitality so I'm skipping Friday and I'll just go on Saturday for Qualifying and stay overnight for the race. Not really sure yet what to do with parking but I'll probably figure that out once I'm there.

I expect Red Bull to have a great shot at a 1-2 here but McLaren will likely be very strong as well with the long straights. Sadly, I really doubt Ferrari will be a factor as usual.

Conqueror:

I am quite sure there are off island parking areas (at least when I went many years ago) and you can take the Metro (subway) to the circuit. There is also some parking on Ile Notre Dame (Parc Jean Drapeau) but it fills up fast!

But but.... Vettel's not a champion. :P

Actually, he is, 2004 Formula BMW Champion. Just like Zonta was FIA GT Champion, Liuzzi F3000 Champion, Trulli German F3 Champion, etc. The wall of champions is for champions of any category ;).

I loose. :guilty:

It is the wall of champions after all :sly: I think Lewis and Vettel to hit it, maybe Button.

I hope nobody's hitting the wall.

I would love to see a well-fought, close race, between as many of the contenders as possible. No more blown-up engines, no more locked brakes, no excuses or saying "my car is rubbish".

Granted, McLaren were closer than ever last race... and Turkey had those incredible fast corner combinations where Red Bull always seem 0.1 - 0.2 seconds faster than everyone else (Vettel's run through sector 2 in the very first race of the season to me was a forewarning of how good this RBR is)... here, McLaren (and Ferrari) have big long straights that will give them an advantage over the Renault-engined entries.

That said... maybe Force India and Mercedes will make good here... though I don't know how well developed the Merc GP car is at this point.

Oh, we don't want anyone to crash ... it's just that the Wall of Champions tends to attract some poor soul, almost as an inevitability. We're just gambling on who is going to stray too wide and collect it.

Button quickest, then Schumacher and Lewis, Rosberg, Vettel and Webber..

No surprise if it's wet.. Well it was already dark there.

Quite happy to see Schumacher up there... But anyway, this is just is just practice. Some off track moments, wall kissing are all happening. Awesome!!

I had a dream today and I saw the results of the race. I remember Alonso was in 3rd. I think Kubica was in 1st.

I am excited, this will be the first race I will watch since Bahrain(I live in an area where every race is at 3 in the morning, with a schedule that has me worn out and unable to stay up)

I only live 2 hours from you, and I stayed up for every race. Though I am a night owl, so I was used to it. But my friend who would watch the race with me is in the same bout as you. He would only stay up for the first 5 minutes then he would be knocked out.

I have had trouble staying up in general though, I always cought the last 20 laps of races though, actually, I saw all of Monaco, but that and Bahrain are the only two.

They are shreding those tires. A lot of people will be into the wall, or worst if they're to run this rubber in the same weather as today.

Edit: in the race, that is.

I noticed that too. The softer tyres seem to get all grainy in no more than 3 laps, that'll be a difficult problem to solve. Anyway, it seemed to happen to all teams
