Tom
I believe he signed the MotoGP deal as part of his Moto2 contract but lets face it, Tech 3's Moto2 Chassis has been nothing short of terrible, very underdeveloped. I mean he might be amongst the CRT's next year or he might be challenging his team-mate (Crutchlow probably) but we don't know yet. Tech 3 obviously have faith in him but he shouldn't have an excuse not to deliver considering the Satellite M1's pace.

I do want to see Westy back in MotoGP though, during my interview with him, he expressed his intentions to bring QMMF forward into the top class on a CRT spec bike, providing he stays with the team of course.

We'll see next year, I hope he does well but there are a few riders in the lower classes who every now and again do something that seems almost impossible and I wouldn't put Smith in that group. I want to see the likes of Marquez, Vinales and Iannone fighting with the big boys now! :banghead: :)

Vinales will most likely move to Moto2 for next year but I think that Iannone and Redding have a high chance of joining Ducati's proposed B-Team should it happen.

Personally, I wouldn't like to see Vinales move up to Moto2 until he is Moto3 champion. He has shown some vulnerabilities this year which lead me to believe he might not be ready yet.

So who do you guys think is going to take the 2nd seat at Tech 3? When It comes to competitive racing you guys are right Dovi is taking a step back, but in the payroll dept he's taking a huge leap forward. I've watched Dovi get passed around from almost every manufacturer out there so maybe he can find a stable home with Ducati?

Latest rumour, Gresini offered Bautista's place to Spies.

Fausto Gresini has confirmed to MCN he is in talks with Ben Spies. Apparently BMW in WSB have offered deal to Leon Haslam now"

I quite fancy Cal for a podium tomorrow, although that's only because Stoner isn't there so it will look better than it is. :sly:

An otherwise boring Moto2 race picked up in the last few laps - I am really over supporting Luthi now, he is such a soft touch when it comes to passing and being afraid to stick an aggressive pass up the inside when he has only one chance to do it. :indiff:

Seems like the Moto3 and 2 titles are foregone conclusions, and Motogp isnt. Quite a change from the last few years!

Well as a Marquez fan, I was certainly pleased with the result. I agree that it was quite a boring race, but the last lap in particular had me on the edge of my seat.

See this is what I'm talking about, it makes more since to have Spies replace Pirro since he's the weaker rider,.? I mean it seems Gresini always has a super wild card rider on chassis 2 like their really into gambling for the long shot or something.

Another exit for Spies. I hope this season doesn't shatter his confidence.

Awesome job by Crutchlow. 1st British podium in MotoGP since McWilliams at Donington in 2000. Go Cal!!!! :D

Jonny Rea getting Casey's seat for next race or two! Come on JR!

In the last 5 years, the winner of Brno has gone on to win the championship. I wouldn't mind seeing Pedrosa win the championship. He's always been up there with the other guys and he's a good rider.

I think he deserves it because he is very quick on his day and he's had such hard luck in the premier class, I can't imagine him winning the championship though because Lorenzo makes it look so easy at times.

I think he'll do well, at least they haven't got brought in a Moto2 backmarker or someone like that to just ride around at the back.

I agree I would like to finally see Pedrosa take a title finally as well. He's been there long enough and he's not getting any younger'

It would also make Jorge hungrier next year and spice up the Yahama garage a bit too.

Pedrosa looks like he has the measure of Jorge, which I agree, is great to see for his sake.

"At the risk of getting another job offer from @BenSpies11, lots of people convinced at Brno test that Ben has signed for Ducati"

Well if he rides the Ducati he won't have any excuses for the terrible results. But we will expect it.

:confused::confused:

Are you sure you haven't got that the wrong way round? Ducati have been dreadful in recent years. If anything, the bike is an excuse for poor results.

I think he meant "he won't have to make excuses".

Anyway, it appears it would be the Pramac

Latest in long list of rumours @Brno. Ben Spies has Ducati Pramac ride! Any more rides he can be linked with? #gettingsilly

Not buying any of this... I do think there are talks, but the final decision hasn't been made.

"This is like a soap opera. It’s kind of annoying but also a bit funny, and just when u think u figured it out, it changes again!"
