Spies! Spies!

Oh... Spies...

I guess this is what happens when you take it easy for so long. When the time comes, then you can't cut it.

And yet another masterfull ride from his team mate.

yup, 4m ago:

@MotoGP
"Marc Marquez gets a one-minute penalty for his clash with Pol Espargaro in the Moto2 race."

That's 24th, and from second to fourth in the championship.

I think he was under probation since... Qatar I think? Even if not officially.

Yep, when he pushed Iannone onto the outside of the entrance of the first corner... Iannone wasn't happy with that, eventhough the probation wasn't an official one but he has had it since Qatar.

Marquez's penalty was reversed by the FIM. He is back to an official 3rd in the race.

What?!? This is an absolute rubbish!

Now this kid is seriously losing my respect. I know he rides good, but if this is the way he treats other riders than bye bye...

As much as it pains me to say it, I dont think Marc did too much wrong there. It wasn't the wisest move and he was lucky to stay on but he can't have known exactly where Pol was. After Marc almost fell off (great save btw) he must have thought Pol would be straight up the inside and not at the second apex. I dont think anyone can blame him too much for going for that apex when he could get it.

Yep what he said ^.

Like the Eurosport commentators said, people would be saying different things and looking at the incident in a different light if it didn't involve Marquez.

Yes, I guess you're right... It's because it was him (but then, he does have a rep) and Espargaro was to blame partially, as he saw him coming and kept going into a forseable crash.

I hate penalties but this lifted one is a good thing in the end. It serves as a warning and doesn't actually penalize him.

Pol crying like a little bit*h in the garage. LMAO!

BTW, Marc and Pol was already side by side and Marc should've been able to see Pol's front wheel. Marc is a dirty racer.

So probably Marquez to Honda then :indiff:

Won't happen if they don't change the rules on rookie drivers. Though if they could somehow get Marquez into motogp this year he may be able to change to the factory team for next year.

Like I said, rumor is that Bradl will go to HRC.

Of course, there has been pressure on Carmelo Epspeleta to make an exception in this case. We'll have o wait and see.

He can't make that exception. If he does the press will only come out with "its because he's spanish" and he will want to avoid that.
He should be on a Simoncelli style HRC bike but not in a factory team contract.

Obviously, if they were to make an exception, it would pretty much void the rule. It is a stupid rule anyway IMHO. Iirc, the rule was brought in after a slightly shaky start for Lorenzo. He's now a world champion and one of the best.

Marquez is ready, and like it or not, he will be riding the same bike as pedrosa, regardless of the team ownership. I really don't see a point to this rule.

Well it seems I was wrong about the reasoning for the rule, but with all the talk on the subject already, I'd be willing to bet that we will definitely see Marquez on a factory bike next year. I can understand the part about allowing satellite teams a pick of good young risers, but there are plenty of good riders out there.

What puzzles me is how a sub par rider with a bag of excuses like Bradley smith already has a deal in place.

He was a lot better last year than he is now but if he is with either of the current tech 3 riders next year we will see just how sub par he is.

BS excuses... One word: "Spanish"

Was the late Marco any worst than Marc? Or was there really no seat available for him the factory teams in 2010? (really asking, I do not remember that far)

I think they wanted Dovi in Repsol over Marco, but that rule wouldn't have been bended for him. Besides, Dorna were never Marco's best friends.

Does anybody think Rossi will junk the duck and move on? I really want to see him go out with a bang rather than to not win again.

Gonna try and get to Mugello again this year, went last time when Rossi broke his leg, you should have seen the atmosphere there, was dead.
