Theres a few big games on over here including Scotland v Wales on friday night and Monetengo v England on tuesday night..which is a top of the group clash..
 
Yes! The game is 10 PM local time so I will be home in time to watch, but I have to be out the door at 7 AM Saturday morning...

What I go through for my team.

Where as Cymru y.e. Yr Alban is a bottom of the table clash...
 
I thought I wouldn't be able to watch Portugal play Israel but espn3 has the game!
And like usual... disappointment.... 40' and down 2-1... to Israel......

I'm rooting against you. I'd LOVE to see Israel qualify for the first time in over 40 years.
 
Northern Ireland v Russia postponed until tomorrow due to the heavy snow..
 
So just to recap tonight games involving the home nations are...some pub team called San Marino v England, Scotland v Wales and N.Ireland v Russia postponed til tomorrow..also Ireland are away to Sweden...
 
Halftime, Belgium leads 0-1 at Macedonia. Tough team to play against, very compact and fast counters, could have been 2-0 in the first 2 minutes.

We need to get better at passing, way too sloppy.
 
If England don't win this by at least 10 goals I'll be disappointed. :lol: Young looking dreadful until that goal.
 
Quite disappointing that we didn't get double figures but an 8-0 stomping is an 8-0 stomping! Also, Spain held at home by Finland for a 1-1 draw!
 
Spain-Finland - 1-1. What were they doing?

And Sweden-Ireland was the most boring game we've played in a loooooong time, gonna be a lot more difficult to make it to Rio now...

The end of the first half consisted of some Costa Ricans lying in the snow complaining about officiating even though they slaughtered Dempsey in the box and got off without our imbecile referee giving a penalty. We need these 3 points.

Play has been stopped 55 minutes in. Apparently, if play is postponed, we will resume play at a later date. Which no one wants. And we're winning. This is complete garbage.

They almost did. We held them off 1-0, what a relief.

Game ended 3-3 tie. At one point Portugal were down 3-1... to ISRAEL :ill:
The coach Paulo Bento and the FPF board continues to piss me off to no end. Striker Helder Postiga was embarrassingly bad as usual and what was our option? Take off CB Bruno Alves for an ever worse striker, Hugo Almeida. And it was our LB Fabio Coentrao who scores in the closing minute!!! :dunce:
The squad call up I cringed at seeing a lot of faces who shouldn't be there and others who should have been given the call but as usual, nope...

I won't even get into this French ref and his bad calls he 'didn't see' because our performance was disgusting. Perfect example, end of 1st half with 1 min given, we had a throw in and Joao Perreira had the ball at the touch line in Israel's half, running up to throw it the ref blows the whistle and stops play. Really??? You didn't blow the whistle when the ball went out of play for the half, you waited until he quickly grabbed the ball and the very last second blew your whistle to insult the team in the worst way I ever seen a ref call for time :dunce::dunce::dunce:

Regardless CRAP performance. If one of these starters gets hurt, we are screwed...

Portugal plays next on my bday against Azerbaijan. We'll see if I get a nice bday present from the national team or not :grumpy:

Something tells me that Portugal will do as they always do... limp out of the group stage to play a playoff, draw Bosnia and barely win the 2 leg playoff to enter the tournament. Happened at EURO2012 and WORLD CUP 2010 :ouch:

I really don't know how we didn't concede last night. Hopefully we will carry momentum into Azteca after Mexico's epic collapse to Honduras.
 
Delighted with the Wales result last night! i know Scotland were down to 10 men for around 20 minutes but we were the better team throughout the match..up to 3rd in the group now!👍:)
 
Another good performance from Messi in yesterday's 3-0 win over Venezuela, assisting Higuaín in both of his goals, while scoring a penalty kick himself.

Also, Mascherano, return to River soon, pls. We need you.
 
Props to Costa Rica for continuing in that weather even if they were down a goal :)👍.

I've seen many comments around the internet about the USSF knowing that it was going to snow in Denver that specific day, CONCACAF set the date, USSF picked Denver and mother nature decided to dump snow, that's it.
 
I'm guessing it will probably be replayed just because of Murphy's Law.
