So OAK have confirmed they'll be running the full season in TUSC, which brings the total P2 count up to 6. Should be a nice mix all year long now in the top P class, though I'd like to see more DeltaWings....

It looks too plain for me... Much prefer Dav Crea's work of art:

Well, considering the C7.R is so new, they most likely selected the livery since it shows off the cars natural body lines.

When the C6.R (Z06 platform) started out it was mostly just yellow. Over time and when they used the ZR1 body it added a lot of black and different graphics (black rear, jake logo, stripes, 60th anniversary corvette flags, etc.
I agree I like that render a lot more though.

Quick video of the C7.R

Thing that really pisses me off is most people don't have Fox Sports 2, it's a paid subscription channel. And I'm guessing most of the series will be broadcast on that. Would be nice to have a channel dedicated to racing and broadcast the entire race. Oh ya we had that, SPEED TV. ESPN 2 had good coverage too. All I can hope for is full race broadcasts on a website. I don't like watching only half of races on TV.

TV schedule is meh. Good to see it on Fox for 2 hours, but there's no real stream unless you have an android when it's not on air. Thankfully, I'll be there ;)

You mean IOS devices...no Android support that I am aware of :(

I'll be there too :) Mostly by the first big turn in the infield after pit exit straight (turn 3)

So NASCAR are not going to do anything for international viewers? 👎

I miss ALMS...

"International television coverage of the Rolex 24 At Daytona will be available in more than 335 million households across 144 countries and territories. Networks carrying Rolex 24 coverage include SPEED (Canada), Fox Sports Latin America, Motors TV (Europe) and Network Ten (Australia), among others."

I don't know if this has been posted already but if you don't get Fox Sports 2, and have certain tv providers you can still watch Fox Sports 2 on Fox Sports Go.

http://msn.foxsports.com/foxsportsgo/
I clicked that link and then the play store link and nothing happens. I searched the app store for fox sports go and the only thing that shows up is fox sports and under the comments of that app people are complaining that fox sports go is still not out yet.

I can't speak about the app as its not available on android. I have xfinity and I just sign in on the page and watch it on the pc.

So Canadian viewers are being shafted? Great, I miss ALMS already... Was nice to be able to watch online when it wasn't on TV.

Basically everyone is being taken for a ride, unless you are paying for a premium cable package in the states which looks like most of us here aren't. There was a time you could watch a race like this on the television and your computer, I'm just glad that the ACO allows coverage on line with WEC through there website and daily motion or I'd be worried for other events.

For me (on D*), Speed was in the same package as FS2 is now, to the best of my knowledge based on channel numbering.

I can see and fully understand everybody's frustration with the new broadcast deal. I live in an area with a lot of hills and trees and Satellite just isn't an option. And my cable provider didn't offer an ESPN package that included access to ESPN3 for any price. So during the last few years, I missed a lot of live ALMS races. As a dedicated ALMS fan since it's inception and as somebody who regularly attended at least one race (or more) every year, I really felt like I was getting the shaft. There were ways to circumvent it and watch online with IP blockers or proxy servers, but it was often unreliable and maddening.

Luckily for me, I'm coming out ahead on this one. For once. About a week before last year's Petit, my provider suddenly offered Fox Sports 2 as part of some sports package but it only cost me an additional $5/month [EDIT: due to the packages I already have] . I was going to order it just for the Petit and then cancel, but then realized that FSP2 also showed 1 hour recaps of all the DTM/FIAGT/BTC races during the past season. They were on at odd times but I could just set a season pass on the DVR and I've been watching them one by one over the last few months. What's more, I have the Fox Go app on my phone so I'm pretty much set for the Tudor season. It's a different experience to be sitting on the other side of the fence this year.

I'll be everywhere  I won't be at the track until Saturday though because of college classes on Friday :( No conti for me this year.

Oh, and I'll be the guy in a bright red Starworks golf shirt and a Titleist or Auburn hat. I'm going to try and watch the Ferrari challenge race on Saturday in the International Horshoe (turn 3)

We've been getting rain showers lately, I'm hoping it will run its course by then.

I'll keep an eye out for you there. I'll be there just for the Tudor race Sat-Sun. Wearing a grey Corvette Racing shirt.

It is a shame that most people might not be able to get Fox Sports 2. I did a quick test and based on your service provider you might be able to access the site and stream the race. If you have a user name and password for your service providers site, use that to try and log in. If it works, combine this option with chromecast and you can have your living room TV showing the race from 4-9PM EST.
