The 88 is hardly in danger of falling out of the top 30 as long as it shows up every week...

The issue I have with Gordon's presence is that unlike Bowman, he has no future. It's actually kinda similar to Elliott Sadler taking up an Xfinity ride year after year and leaving potential younger talents more or less hung out to dry.

Kinda disagree with that (Seeing as Brenden Gaughn is also there and for a time, So was Kenny Wallace). Unless a sponsor is willing to take a chance with a young driver as opposed to a cup driver doing part time in Xfinity, that's gonna happen anyway so a former cup driver that has no chance at getting a Cup ride isn't really doing any more damage then the sponsors themselves already. If anything, it'll hardly change anything.

Alex Bowman isn't a serious candidate to drive a Hendrick car next season on a permanent basis, even if Dale Jr retires. Maybe Bowman could drive for a satellite HMS team, if he got lucky.

At worst, Hendrick would just make Chip Ganassi an offer he couldn't refuse to release the rights to Kyle Larson's contract.

This should've happened the minute Kyle Larson got within sniffing distance of a cup car and Kahne's performance started to falter or his contract began to run up or whatfreakingever. Now that I think about it, something tells me that with Target possibly leaving NASCAR, and Dale Jr.'s cup career seemingly having an expiration date, I have a feeling that Hendrick could be seriously courting Kyle Larson as a driver.

It doesn't matter how many you get right, you just have to complete it. If you complete it you get whatever prize you selected shipped to you

I know Larson is going to be a hot commodity in the future. Someone who has performed very well with his current ride and could be looking for a new home as well is Ryan Newman. He's a journeyman who could come in for Hendrick and perform well

Complete that quiz and you can get a free Tony Stewart 1/24 Mobil 1 Diecast or a Mobil 1 hat

EDIT: You don't need to get the answers right to get the free thing BTW

Pretty cool, thanks for posting that 👍

Been a while since I got a NASCAR Die-Cast so I completed it (Got them right BTW) and selected it. Just hope I recognize the number when they call me

That's why I haven't finished it yet! I'm waiting until I hear someone getting their car before I try it.

Trust me, no social security number or credit cards are required.

The more I read into the whole Dale Earnhardt Jr. concussion thing, the more gravely concerned I become for Dale Jr. Granted I was never any Dale Jr. fanatic, the whole concussion issue is serious business. I just hope Dale Jr. just gets healthy. "NASCAR America" had a great segment discussing all the nuances of Dale Jr.'s concussion and the different effects of having a concussion. You don't want something like this to ruin your livelihood or anything. On top of that, you have to feel for such athletes even if you don't like them.

Having said all of this, good luck to all drivers and teams competing across all levels of NASCAR this weekend.

Did it. Now I'm waiting to receive my Stewart diecast. Its gonna look good next to my Hess stuff and my Autoart Stealth GTR

That looks...disapointing as well. Either go full pink/yellow Finch tribute or something with an 80's/synthwave vibe. Not this.

Larson's always been a hot commodity. Newman...idk what's in store for him if he left RCR

I honestly think RCR at this point is the only reason Newman is still here and even then, everyone knows he's on barrowed time.

He and Jamie McMurray are in the same situation. Not sure what's left for either of them, but I think one will end up being at best driving for HScott after their contracts expire.

That is unless Hendrick decides to go for experience or both reach agreements to stay put.

I just finished that quiz a few minutes ago. Turns out all the prizes were gone. :(

I would have picked the Bass Pro Shops hat.

Oh Well.

When you listen to Alex Bowman he sounds so grateful for his opportunity to drive the 88. Then you realize HMS has no decent young drivers. If you tie JR Motorsports to the equation, you get Allgaier and Sadler. Sadler is a career nobody, Allgaier if given an opportunity may have become respectable. Hell, they had to put Chase Elliott in the 24 and he has no chance to see victory lane anytime soon. The 34 has a victory, that in itself should make Buescher ROTY. He can win in third tier equipment, where Prince Chase has top of the line equipment and continues to fail week in and week out. Reminds me of Princess Danica in that 10 car, just taking a space on the grid every week
