Harvick's no angel, but if Dillon takes him out for THAT wreck, where you can hear him back out of the gas, that's BS.Austin acting on his crew chief's suggestion would definitely cement him in the column of drivers I like
There really wasn't a 3-4 hour window even if they waited until today. Been raining all day in Fort Worth according to fans who live in the areaI'm content with my thought that Edwards probably would have won if it went the full distance. NASCAR did the right thing. I know there is a lot of angry people out there about it but the race was already delayed 5 or 6 hours, they made it pretty far past halfway and local time was after 10 pm. Add 3 hours to dry just for 40 laps and maybe even less depending when it would have went green. Nobody likes rain shortened races but it was the right call.
I think Harvick is a dick and I remember his first race and victory while everyone was still teay eyed over Dale Earnhardt's death. I don't think he'd be anyone if it weren't for him taking Dale's place at RCR after he died.
He has tons of taken in the trucks and Busch Series. He was definetly thrown in earlier than he should have been but RCR had no choice. Kevin really wasnt competitive until like 05-06. 2003 he was solid though.
Let's be real, if Dale were alive today, he would be retired since about 2010 or 2011. Both due to age, and likely due to the fact that he would probably dislike the COT platform. So Harvick's ascent would have been delayed by roughly 3-6 years, and would definitely have been an extra carI wonder if Dale Sr. was still alive, would RCR have expanded to a four car team in 2002, or would Kevin take over for Skinner, or would he take Dale Sr.'s ride once he hung it up.
That being said, Harvick has shown that he will do anything to get to the final four. I'm definitely gonna be watching to see if anything goes down between him and Dillon.
