Just wondering why NASCAR allowed them to have an extra man of the wall.
Apparently the 7th man over the wall is supposed to help the driver only. Windshield tearoffs and probably handing things to the driver is mainly what they do, but NBC is saying NASCAR approved the work by that guy.
Kevin Harvick GAINED a spot on pit road!?!?!?!?!?

Has Hillary Clinton dropped out of the Presidential Election yet?
With a guy working on the radio none-the-less. Maybe he needs radio issues more often?

No...no...I like normal angry Harvick, thanks.

Only 1?!!!!

Be glad it wasn't -7.

18 either has 1) broken exhaust or 2) a chipped valve spring.

Also: Apparently the 5 crew thought what worked at Charlotte would work at other 1.5s. Then they came to Texas and qualified poorly. Take it off, hey it's running better.

Brian Scott practicing for a role in Ken Block's next video.

Caution for what looks like brake hose and a bracket. Live speed, I didn't know what the hell that was floating around.

Edit: Menard trying to replicate Brian Scott.

E2: One of Menard's tires exploded on one of the engineers behind the wall! Engi has been taken to get checked out, but how does this keep happening on Menard's cars?

E3: 78 is sloooowly reeling in the 22.

Will it actually rain though. In DFW the radar is more reliable, but out here around me it could look like Hell in the skies.....and pass over without a drop of anything.

EDIT-FIX: Almost 100 to go.

Who knows. You're right though with the light green being iffy with whether it does or doesn't rain.

Close calls everywhere in the pits including an epic pit entry battle between Truex and Edwards.

After that radar look, it ain't rainin' unless it explodes over the track. That cell's fallin' apart as it goes.

A well done battle to pit-in, nice to see drivers at least trying to race at all points.

Edit: 78 and 19 feel gremlins, 78 got loose out of commercial, Kurt's chase odds are eroding, 18 looks odd with that tin patch on the nose, Logano falling back while Chase moves up and Austin 🤬 Dillon is back in the top 5.

Pretty good race so far. No crashes, nice long green flag runs, and some great racing for the lead.

No crashes, but three spins. Dillon dropped in on the 23, went 'round in 3-4, calamity complex tonight.

Edit: 19 beats 78 off pit road.

E2: AND it's all gone to hell. 3 got loose & a bump from the 4, left side destroyed. 13 looks like got spun by the 44, who also spun, 13 is trashed.

I'm not a fan of Dillon by any stretch of the mind, but if he wants to take it to the #4 next week, I'm all for it.

EDIT: Kurt Busch with some sort of pit road penalty.
