Well, there's man cases where a team that was on top of the mountain reaching a desperate low. Petty Enterprises did it twice, I want to say Holman-Moody became Yates, then that was absorbed by Roush, though in the past if a down giant was taken over/ sold off, the owners at the time were very old and possibly looking to be done with it all, Holman-Moody and Junior Johnson come to mind.

In other words, I can see it. Penske being the chief Ford team, operating like Hendrick does with the 21 and SHR, with the only Roush nod at the track being the engines, and I don't know if THAT would happen.

Robert Yates bought Ranier-Lundy Racing in 1988, they merged with Richard Petty Motorsports at the end of 2009.

Right, right. I remember the last bit now. I though he'd taken over Holman, oh well I shouldn't be posting unless I know something.

Kyle Petty putting Brad K. in his place regarding Brads comments on Matt DiBenidettos possible concussion....I love it. Now BK thinks he's a damn doctor , give me a break.

Ahhhhhhhh yes. Here we go.

Interesting to note, with the way NFL ratings have been getting stuffed (partially because the prime time games have been...rather bad) race may still be fair game against SNF. :P

I've always assumed that was just something you didn't do, mainly because of the chance of...well what he was a few inches from about five times. Miss it, go around again.

Just wondering why NASCAR allowed them to have an extra man of the wall.
