Unless I'm mistaken, Endurance races 6 hours or longer are always on or start on a Saturday.
Not true, unless we are talking about Belgium specifically and they have some laws I'm unaware of. Silverstone was run on a Sunday. As are pretty much all of the other WEC events excluding Le Mans of course.

Well hell, I was under the assumption that was the case. Then again, I was only going off the Le Mans Endurance Series races from years before as well as some of the races here in the states.

Just finished watching the Silverstone race. Why did the #2 Porsche do 2 pit stops within 2 laps towards the end? Not that it mattered in the end but I haven't read anything about it.

That was very strange. They changed left side tires and added fuel on lap 161 the stopped again on 163 and did the right side and more fuel. They had managed to stay out 31 laps earlier in the race but there was a FCY in the middle of that stint. The final stint would have been 31 laps but it was all green so they stopped with 10 min to go for a splash.

Or they forgot to do the left side, or they cut a tire, or they did not back time it correctly and had to stop again.:odd:

Why is Fox Sports 1 showing just a 30 minute 'highlight' video of the race???

It's always been that way, they never show the full race. Back when it was ALMS on ESPN3 they'd do the same thing when the reshowed it on ABC.

They only changed two tyres to save time on the pitstop but then had to pit again due to a tyre issue. That prevented them from racing for the win on the track.

What kind of issue? Did they say? It was very strange.

Is motors TV definitely gone from BT? would like to avoid streaming it if possible but I can I can only see eurosport showing the last hour

FS1 is showing the first 30 min of the race and FS2 has the final 3hrs. Foxsportsgo will have the full race with Varsha and Fish.

Hey guys, FSGo newbie here, will the full race be available online? and if so how will I be able to get it?

Thanks!
