Wasn't much of a failure considering it actually won a race..... By 5 laps....Lister Storm LMP. A failure of a prototype (not quite up to GT-R LM or AMR-One failure levels) that raced sporadically in the early 00's.

I'm gonna guess it was against cars that weren't exactly challenging it in anyway considering how terribly off pace it was in most of its outings.
I remember that Lister being in this Le Mans video game for the original XBOX that had the Cadillac lmp1, Panoz lmp1, Audi R8 and a couple others.
Still won though you can't argue with that.Which would mean something if it hadn't been the only LMP900 car in the field. It's a bit like saying the Manor F1 is a fast car because it won a GP2 race.

Same could have been same when there was a GT2 Ferrari and a Ginetta LMP3 entered in last years Silverstone 24 and they both lost to a GT4 car.Only car in class, 5 seconds a lap quicker than next car... be very worried if it didn't win.
Ford are keeping their sandbags in the passenger seat until Le Mans. The WEC rounds are just test sessions for them. How the hell do you stop AF Corse from winning?
Seriously, for as long as I can remember they have always been the ones absolutely dominating in their Ferraris...
Toyota is running the high downforce aero so sector 2 would certainly favour them and not the low-drag Audi and Porsche.Ford are keeping their sandbags in the passenger seat until Le Mans. The WEC rounds are just test sessions for them.
Toyota and Ferrari much quicker than anyone in their class in sector 2 ( Les Combes to Stavelot).
True, but their top speed is comparable to both Porsche and Audi's (http://fiawec.alkamelsystems.com/) even though they're running low drag. That shows Toyota has some POWER!Toyota is running the high downforce aero so sector 2 would certainly favour them and not the low-drag Audi and Porsche.
Great to see my beloved Toyota topping a session again. It has been a while!
I didn't realise that. Brilliant news and now I'm even more hopeful of some success this weekend.True, but their top speed is comparable to both Porsche and Audi's (http://fiawec.alkamelsystems.com/) even though they're running low drag. That shows Toyota has some POWER!
Well Ford knows a thing or two about beating Ferrari's...How the hell do you stop AF Corse from winning?
