I have a few questions On the wec app, what is the video quality like ? Is it 1080 and fps OK ? Can I have main video feed on laptop, other car feeds on iPad and phone all at the same time ? Thanks

I haven't used it this year, but going off of last years Le Mans stream the quality was fine and it had no problem streaming on two devices with one account.

I think it is 720P and there is no issue with stuttering for example. Anything is better than MotorsTV and it's Vaseline filter plus you don't have to contend with ad breaks.

It's the first year I have subscribed and it is well worth the €35 based on the quality of the footage from the 6h Silverstone. You also get to see qualifying too which is great.

:lol: :lol: :lol: Setting a car ride height low is cheating? :lol: :lol: :lol:

Plank damage was probably caused by the excessive amount of kerbing being taken. And if Porsche was "victim" would have made no difference. Rules are rules, you may take your blinkers off now.
I would agree, except there were about 30 other cars who ran the same track (and curbs etc) but didn't get excluded for excessive wear.

Just doing what ford were doing, sandbagging so they don't get a bop adjustment before Le Mans.
Still think they can't afford to sandbag right now...they've been awful at all 3 IMSA races so far on this side of the pond (only finished well at Long Beach because the BMW's messed up and one of the Porsches decided to play Stuka). They were even being beat by the sand bagging Fezza and Aston at Silverstone.

All the better to confuse those confounded performance boppers. Don't be surprised if two hours into the le mans 24 hours if the Fords are running 1-2-3-4 in class.

Well you didn't expect him to say "we rung the neck of the car and got everything out of it we could. We're stuffed." Did you?
They did exactly that. But their understanding of the new car is still immature. Setup and engine/hybrid mapping could give them that little bit more.

There is no bop in lmp1 before Le Mans ;)

Hard to do that when the door's open (poor Joey Hand trying to keep it closed at Long Beach lol)... :P :lol: . But yeah it'd not be all that surprising. However, it wouldn't be surprising to me if none of the cars are running by hour 13 or are all bringing up the rear.

I hope it doesn't rain at Le Mans, for their sake. That windscreen wiper they have is pitiful. :lol:

ACO can BoP as they wish.

I wonder if the Toyotas are as slow as last year ! :(
They're not. From Silverstone 2016;

Porsche's fastest lap- 1:40.3
Audi's fastest lap- 1:40.4
Toyota's fastest lap- 1:40.6

they lack the consistency right now, but improved 1.6 seconds over last year's car.

Silverstone 2015 ;

Audi's fastest lap- 1:40.8
Porsche's fastest lap- 1:42.0
Toyota's fastest lap- 1:42.2

Spa entry list, +1 Gibson. http://www.fiawec.com/wpphpFichiers/1/press_area/39/521/WEC_2016_Spa_EntryList.pdf

Ford and Porsche are not thrilled with different BOP levels between Imsa and WEC. http://sportscar365.com/lemans/wec/gte-manufacturers-lobbying-for-common-imsawec-bop/ BTW nice work by the ACO getting the rest of the GTE field within 1.7 sec of the new Ferrari 488.:boggled:
Honestly the competition levels are messing with it for Ford...because they're horrible over here. xD Only got 4th at Long Beach because BMW choked and Porsche wrecked one of their Stukas.

Are Privateers allowed into LMP1-H? If so, Nissan could make a fortune selling hybrid engines to teams who want to take on the manufacturers. I could see Rebellion, ByKolles, and maybe even Manor joining the P1 ranks if this is possible...

I do not believe so. I think P1-H is exclusively for factory team efforts.
