Going to be an interesting final 10 minutes.

Edit: Good. A Nissan made it in.

He's probably going to qualify inside the top ten*, now that I'm saying this but what the hell has happened to Mostert this weekend? He's been absolutely nowhere.

Edit: *He almost did too. I knew it.

All I am going to say about those qualifying results is that I stopped watching F1 when Mercedes was winning everything.

Why are they pitting the #17? Just follow Lowndes. Fabs has Lebrocq with Courtney about to catch the two.

Wow. DId a whole lap and it stayed on. Oh well, strategy has made this race.

 My step-daughter says, " Oi! Chaz has a "chop" sticker!"

Massive credit to Le Brocq. Epic drive today to finish 5th.
Yes, he's making the other rookies look very lacklustre.

Ok, a tradesman is only as good as the tools he has to work with but, as Crompton said during the telecast, "You've still gotta row your own boat, you've still gotta come up with your own settings."

Very happy with today's result now that Craig has got the monkey off his back.

Courtney stayed quick throughout.

DJRTP almost reverting back to the "one car does good, the other does bad", mantra.

Nah, that's just the class of one Scott McLaughlin.
On any other day, I'd agree, but Race 1, Scott had an issue. Race 2, Coulthard was running well in top 6, until the wheel nut thing.

Albert Park, Scott won a race, but Coulthard was still there. Finished above Scott in one of the races.

On to PI. Then, well see just how fast these ZBs are.

Another two or three laps and Pye might have been able to get past Le Brocq for fifth.

Still think Barbagallo and Winton wil be the big tests for WAU, they've had some real shockers at both tracks in recent years but very promising signs so far.

Two strong drivers in WAU. The team are much better on the eyes without the red. ;)
Boooooo!

My namesake finally has a win after almost 2 years, for a grand total of 106 wins. Not bad for a 44 year old.

Well let me put it to you another way.

If you had to pick SM or FC to race for your life....

Everything being equal, my life is in Scotty's hands.

That was a real weird one. Was the nut not properly tightened or something?

He had some good performances when he was with DJRTP in their early days but Pye has really come on in the past 18 months or so. This year he's starting to show that he can be a regular top ten runner, now that he looks to have a consistently fast car.

Orange is the new red.

Still can't believe I'm older than him. He reminds me of Scott Pruett. Which, feels like Lowndes has been around that long.

I'm just saying Fabs has his moments. This tyre isn't doing him any favors, but he's still up there. No one would dare bet against Scott, when it comes to keeping the Falcon out front.

"...consistently fast car.."... and job security. 👍

I like the look of that Rockhampton track. Looks like a cross between a street circuit and permanent circuit. Hopefully it actually gets off the ground.
