I'd have it in the Sandown retro livery.

Was under the assumption that car was a brand new chassis that they debuted at the start of this year? Guess not.

$60 bucks. Foxtel has gone up and they're offering the Bathurst channel all week. Now, I wonder what select races will actually be shown, if any, next week, with this Supercars exclusive service.

Percat to be sponsored by repco at Bathurst

Good looking livery too. BJR have done a nice job with all their cars this year.

These two are exactly the same build. Race the same and the car is good. They have to take the to step.

Hope someone does jump on that REC, would be a shame to have one less car on the grid. At least Triple 8 won’t be able to lock-out the podium.

Yeah, hopefully someone picks up that REC. One of the Kostecki's maybe?
If you believe what’s been written on Speedcafe, there’s as many as five RECs that are far from a certainty in 2019.

*Roland’s spare
*The Holdsworth #18
*4 Nissans may become 2
*Jonathon Webb’s

The Kostecki’s May be spoilt for choice.

Black bonnet ruins it for me. Looks great aside from that though.
*The Holdsworth #18

Honestly that doesn't surprise me much. Holdsworth is wasted in that team pottering around midfield. Schwerkolt has done bugger all since spiltting from DJR.

Certainly seems like it.

Charlie has said anything is possible & he’s considering all the options.

I don’t know what the problem is there.
They have a good car, strong engines & Lee hasn’t forgotten how to drive so, I suspect it’s an engineering issue with a lack of clear communication between Lee & the guys on his car.
If it’s getting lost in the translation between feedback & spanners, it’s doomed to fail.

Yeah, I think that has been Walkinshaw's problem for the past decade or so.

What engines are Preston Hire using anyway? I know they've got a T8 spec car.

As far as I know, Charlie's team are using KRE engines like T8 so, no excuses on that point.

I think Walkinshaw's problem was more a case of trying to out-pioneer T8 with their own front upright & getting lost for direction.
They certainly seem to be on the right track now but, that's the thing with this class we call Supercars. You only need to be just outside the setup window & you're down the back half of the grid.

Who would've predicted Whincup missing from last year's Bathurst top10 shootout? Or, the problems that plagued the #17 at Sandown? And that's with the French genius on the team!

I think watching my first Bathurst in Australia, the Falcon Cobra re-entered the market. BF GT Cobra. 11years just flew by.

Yeah, I recall an article last year prior to the Andretti announcement. Where Courtney claimed that Walkinshaw only had three full time engineers on staff. Not sure how many engineers other teams have but I'm guessing it's got to be a few more than three.
Met him at the Muscle Car Maters Fathers Day event at SMP some years back. Was kind enough to give me and my wife a few minutes of his time. RIP

Bob Jane Southern Motors were the original owners of my VC Commodore. He was kind enough to sign the owners manual a few years ago at the muscle car masters. Absolute legend.

I met Bob Jane at Calder Park in ‘87 during the opening round of that year’s ATCC.
Because of his reputation as a no fuss character, I was as intimidated as I’d ever been when I asked for an autograph.
He was more than happy to oblige & I’ve still got that autograph.

Rest In Peace Mr Jane.
