Caruso or Lebrocq might be at Tickford. Lebrocq has a Tekno contract, but is talking to other teams. Might be an announcement on Sunday.

My all time favorite race with him was at Perth in 2012 when him and Davison were fending off Whincup over the last couple laps. Good stuff.

Totally had forgotten about that race. Such a great finish. 👍

There's been a few rumours that Stanaway won't be at Tickford next year. Not sure Caruso is really an upgrade over Frosty at this point. Le Brocq might be good though.

We all know Lebrocq should have been at Tickford or Nissan(heck, even Erebus). Not cool how he and I'll add Jacobson, got stuffed around.

Really weird to hear Frosty say Whincup told him, he'll enjoy driving T8 cars.

Looks really windy in Newcastle! I'm doing the Kayo sports trial at the moment, seems like a great service for those that don't want to pay for Fox.

Yeah. Gusty yesterday with the dust storm. My car looked like a barnyard find.
Carried over windy conditions. Looks good all weekend. 27 degrees.

Oh? I missed that bit. Lebrocq and Pye would be an awesome youthful lineup.

I'm just speculating. Both JC and Pye's deals are up at the end of 2019. After what Pye has done since joining. Think another young guy like Le Brocq or Jacobson could be a good move with the development of the team.

For some reason, I thought Pye had a longer contract.

Hmm, Stanaway. I'm okay to see him continue, but he's on or off. He CAN be quick. His teammates know what they're doing. So, I'm sure they're guiding him. Just wonder if he's not happy with the engineer or team or what.

Let us know how it goes. I first heard about it today and I’m seriously considering it, now that most of the cricket is now on Foxtel, and that and the V8’s are about all I actually want to watch on tv.

Was at the track today and heading there the next 2 days. Was a really great time. Got some nice videos (as in nice for an outdated phone) on the first practices of the Super2 and Supercars (left after 86 Practice 2) though on the first one, I was right next to a photographer with all this high tech gear, made me look like a complete amateur with my phone . Can't wait for some racing tomorrow :D

That's nice. A passing shower early this morning, awakened me. Cool and still windy. Staying home today and going tomorrow.

Edit: Should have found out who from gtp was going. I have a couple resident passes for today.

Resident passes? Guess those are for people who actually live in the area and can go passed the residential only zone.

Nearly on my way to the track for today, not going to where the merch I brought until tomorrow . Don't want preemptively cheer and then it's already over before Race 2

Funny, I do the same . I'll be sitting at my bar with some mates around watching the telecast... but with none of my Ford gear on. I'm not sure if the reason is suspicion or stupidity :dopey:.

Edit: For years I've been trying to explain to my wife what it's like to do a ride day in an Supercar but I've never quite been able to get the full spectrum of sensations right. I just showed her this clip in the link below which perfectly explains it.

https://www.supercars.com/videos/championship/newcastle-2018-ponga-onboard-lap/

She sat there with her mouth open like this..., and now fully understands why I want her to do it... and I think she will :D.

Helps not waiting in line. :D Yeah, we bought tickets last year and then, found out our friend received them just before the event. This year, we waited. She got the bands last week.

That's also another reason why I'm going Sunday. I know it's Lowndes' last race and last race for the Falcon in the main game. If Scott crashes out, I miiiiiiiiiiight not go tomorrow.:sly:

I'm going Sunday regardless of what happens to SVG, but it what I wear (SVG shirt or Lowdnes shirt) depends on the result .

Don't get me wrong, I like both drivers but have to go for the Holden driver

Get a Holdsworth shirt.

SuperView schedule is screwed up again. Says the race stream is live right now, and it's active, but according to the timer on the website it says the race starts in 2 hours...

Is it a full broadcast with Support Races?

Will Holdsworth be driving a Holden next year though. Who knows?

Speaking of, great performance by Lee in qualifying.
He did say, "bigger and better things". Could be the "bigger" wing on the back of the Mustang. :dopey:

Edit: RAAF jet just flew over my house. It starts...
