Lets seem some scores, lets see what your system is made of. It's a more friendly benchmark for Windows 7/8 users. With all the new ATI cards coming out, should be nice to let all their power shine for a bit. Bring the scores.

Go to this link and download the software:
Techpowerup US Mirror Site

1. Download the file
If the link provided doesn't work, trying Futuremark's website and find one of the alternative download links here.

2. Execute the EXE file
Execute the uncompressed file – ffxiv-arr-bench-character.exe
* Select the language to display, carefully read through the Software License Agreement, and use the software.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Setting Up the Bench:
If you are running the Demo version of this 3DMark, simply "Run all tests >" available from the welcome screen.

2. Click on "View Results Online and post a link to your score. Only list the "Fire Strike" results.

3. Post your results in the following format.

Fire Strike Score - [*B]USERNAME[/b] - CPU @ CPU SPEED - [No of Cards] x Video Card @ GPU SPEED/MEM SPEED - CPU COOLING/GPU COOLING (AIR, H2O, LN2, Peltier, Phase, etc)

CPU info can be found in the 3DMark results. To get GPU information, you can use TechPowerUp GPU-Z that you can download here.

I tried a run just now before work and it closed itself just before the Firestrike benchmark test (only have the free version).

I'll try another run when I get home...

9393 - Sharky. - 3570K @ 4.0GHz - [2] x Gigabyte GTX 670 OC 2GB @ 1150/3005 - air/air (Hyper 212+/Gigabyte Windforce 3)

GPU clock on card 2 was at 1163.

Not sure why Furmark is saying my graphics driver is unapproved, I'm running 326.80 - might be running the beta instead of the WHQL release. Will update to 331.58 and rerun.

edit:
9956 on 331.58. Didn't have Precision's performance monitor open while running it so I don't know what my cards were clocked at for the run. As a frame of reference they're 980/3004 stock and I had a +60/+100 overclock set in Precision...

13504!

Standard settings just after "upgrading" to windows 8.

Phoenix - i7-3820 CPU @3,60 GHz - [2] x Gigabyte GTX 780, @ 954/3004 - CPU H100i water/GPU air

Scores updated. Nice run guys.

Yeah, just got the free version here as well. Didn't have any crash to desktop issues though. Make sure you get it updated to the latest version.

Score for my low budget gaming PC:

6156 - Saidur_Ali - i5-4430 @ 3.00GHz - [1] x Gigabyte GTX 670 OC 2GB @ 1163/3,054 - Noctua NH-C14/Gigabyte Windforce 3X (AIR)

The GPU does need watercooling, it has more potential :P

Nice run man! Might have to clock up my CPU and GPU and give it a serious go tonight. :D

Waiting for more people to post their 2x GPUs score up before beating them all eh?

Nah.
With the drop in prices of the 780, I might go get a 3rd one, so you'll have to make another leaderboard. :D
We'll keep it single and multiple gpu leaderboards. Extreme is extreme, no matter how extreme you get. ;)

I'm trying to run it now but from a remote connection so the results may be a bit skewed!

*edit*

3959 - DQuaN - i3 3220 @ 3.3Ghz - Single GTX570 797/975Mhz - Air/Air

Updated. I'm surprised I'm not seeing more ATI guys wanting to dominate the leaderboard. ;)

I'll post a run with my ancient setup in a few. Did one, then realized my CPU overclock was lost for some reason.

Edit: Helped a bit -

5422 - David - i7-950@ 4.0ghz (HT off) - [2] x EVGA GTX480 @ 850/2200 - H20/H20

Woo, I beat your physics score on Ice Storm Pako! Take that!

Haven't really bothered to overclock the CPU since I'm still using the stock cooler.

This old thing is still hanging in there. Dealing with the water cooling is what's really been putting me off from doing a major upgrade. That, and other expensive hobbies.

I know what you mean. I put up with a front panel USB issue because of not wanting to drain the system to get to the headers. I've since installed quick disconnects and went a more modular route making maintenance more manageable. 👍 still a pain though. ;)

@Pako Yeah this machine was my first go at water cooling. There are no quick disconnects and I'm ashamed to say that the only way to drain it is to pull a tube off of a barb (or cut one open). If I go the water route again next time I'll have a much better idea of what I want to do and hopefully make something a lot less crude.

Look out another leader board. I'll see if I can top this one when I get some time to do a run :D:tup:.

Question though Pako - Because the 690 is technically a multi GPU does that mean I can't compete in the single card run with 1 690?

If it's like my 590, you can disable SLI and run it as a single GPU.

Yeah I can disable them so they run single. Don't know if i would even get close to those scores running as single compared to quad sli though ;)

I'll try though an see what I get.
