Rigidity improvement? yes, I am, moreover, although it seems unnecessary, I'm restoring the rigidity everytime I change the oil, as @Konnichiwa said, this car needs more maintenance than Paris Hilton.

I don't even want to maintenace Paris Hilton

How much maintenance does this car needs. With how many km's and what do i need to do?

It looks like its random but a lot often when you get over 1200 km, I know yesterday I changed the oil before my session but about an hour later after chasing my ghost for a while I saw I was 10hp down.

BTW Nice time ;)

Once you start changing oil -even on a new car- the PP will begin to drop after about 200km's. That's when you need to change Again.

Here is the vid of my super lap with the Keihin HSV. Fun combination this. đź‘Ť

Hope you like the vid

Couldn't play it, message stated...This video is unavailable.

Please Try again now. Sorry, seems Youtube hadn't finished uploading it yet when I posted it :dopey: (talks to self - such a dumbass sometimes)...

Just out of curiosity Jim, what time are you getting?

Perhaps you should have posted all the info too. Maybe you can't do that, I don't know.

Gave this one a try tonight, 1:15.946 after a frustrating half hour of overdriving the car, really have to go slow into the corners.
I don't have a good feel for this car or track, struggled with the car on corner exit and the corkscrew is so difficult to get right.
I definitely want to get better with these cars so I'll have to try again in a couple days.

Thanks :)

I have 2 Honda HSV, one with only high RPM turbo and anotherone with stage 3 engine + oil.

The lap i did yesterday with stage 3 engine + oil was 0,175s slower, but i think it was just better driving by myself.

Both cars have the same speed, they just handle a bit different.

Turbo feels easier for me with the ds3, stage 3 + oil gives better rotation but starts sliding very early.

I think that you're wrong. With turbo you get quicker you're back end sliding, B'coz of the power instant power. Specialy in turn 2, corcks and the last left hander where you going to 2nd gear. The turbo is just to much when you hit the throttle from the lets say 2nd gear.

Without turbo it slides as well but but not to much, it's easier to drive for me when you do it right.

That's my opinion from driving it with or without turbo!

Yeah, seems like this car is like a well trained dog, or that stupid friend whit no mind of hes own, it will go around the bend any way you tell it to go, not giving any hint about how would it like to go around it! Only way this car tells you how it feels about your driving is leaving a ton of time in the corner... Whit lotus 97 there was no problem of this sort, it tells you exactly when you made a mistake by throwing itself out of the track, and that's a sort of glue that even as thick minded person as I can pretty much figure out :D hahah HSV is too easy to drive, that's the biggest issue for me

And yeah, my time after over 1400 km is just 1.16:099 and once I get it to .15's I'm so done whit this one, most frustrating TT in a long time...

I agree with you without tubo it is better and that's my opinion also.

Well I think at least top 2 is driving whit out turbo so that would suggest it's faster, can't really be sure tough

Not faster, easier!

The conclusion is that with or without turbo the times are almost identical, so, why using turbo that more slides on the exits and it's bit tougher to drive then without the turbo which is identical fast and easier to drive!

I'm using engine stage 3 + oil
Change, with @Mini Stiggy's set up, car is well balanced and easy to drive. On us drivers is only one thing-drive fast-less slide, and I swear the times will drop quickly!

Yep, first time I went to the track without turbo I was couple of tenths faster and the car behaved better. It seems that final at 2600 suits best for me (eclipse gears) and mini stiggys setup seems to suit me as well. Thanks again for all the tuners, I would be quite lost with out you

Woo!! Made my first top 10!!!

1:15:211 :D:tup:

I'm at the bottom but a top 10 nonetheless

I screwed up the exit on T1 so there is still like a tenth or two to be had on DS3 but I'm more than happy with this result

So I now need to find at least 0.2 to get back in the top 10

???

I was talking about the rotation characteristic of the car through the corner. You are talking about losing control because of wheelspin, that's something different. ;)

Misunderstanding then.

But , when I drove with turbo I didn't notice much the"rotation"of
The car tbh! I just felt the instant power kick and bit harder to control.

What's your first sector time? I think Eclipse gets through with a 19.1

Dunno, never look at the time, just where I am vs my ghost/top lines... on a good lap, I can exit turn 1/2 with nothing in front of me, and be c. one car length down at T1 split.

On my current best lap, I have an ordinary T1 and a rubbish T2... T3 is OK though.

you drive with the friends lines and ghost on? I find those very distracting. In fact sometimes I exit the game just so I can do the lap without the distraction of my ghost.

I always drive with ghost and lines on also.

I have the top right button on my G27 set to switch ghost on/off. I switch it on/off through the lap depending on where I am.

It was a 1:22.651 (says it in the description on Youtube :P)
I can post more info if you like, but it won't be of much interest.
I should say I'm only an average player and I tend to just run the super laps until I get the gold and then move on cos you only get the credits once. Though I did run this one a couple more laps as I was enjoying it at the time.

@Mini Stiggy the time on the dashboard seems to be the time of the previous quickest lap I did (i.e. the lap before). Which makes sense because when I was driving the lap I hadn't finished it yet so the game wouldn't know what time it was going to be yet (if you see what I mean).
