U running wat weight on the 2j ? ...I was having the same problem at 79kg and 84kg.....Managed to sort it out when i added the extra weight....



Im getting 496bhp with 88kg no oil change and ballast position at +50
81kg brother I'm gonna give it ago with the 88kg see how I get on lol

I'm a full 5 sec behind most you. Fun new track for me. The gold extremely easy but shaving time not so much... Stuck at 1:22:680. Gearing & cornering need work & rightly so, but sadly, don't have the time to dedicate to it. Will try again soon to improve. Next goal, to bust 1:21.

The seasonals are truly enjoyable. Much Love folks...

No clue where to find time... I am normally in top 300 but now way of the pace. Stuck at 1:22.090...
I think the 2J is not my cup of tea. Love the track, but I just can't find any time anywhere else.

Are you going to use your wheel or stay on you DS3, I am staying on this one because I make to many errors driving the Tommy kaira ZZ II'00 on the other TT.

Yes it helped me find some time for sure, I still have no idea how to take the last two corners but I am in P6..
If i do no oil change i cant get a 600 pp car with 83 kg ballast. So you must grind it. If you use the high turbo. I think this is the point. Are you using the high turbo? with a no grind car and no oil change you must using 120 kg of ballast if you use 83 kg.

So grinding is the key here.

Funny,because in the last corners im pretty fast here.:lol:
 
1.18.886 finally got some decent laps in. The key was letting the body rigidity go bad. Cornering became much better.

i've grinded this car for 16,000klm. There is very little advantage gained. Only the body rigidity deterioration helped

Man that second last corner. When I watched the first Alien replay, can't remember which one, he was almost off the track there. I thought hell I didn't know you could go so wide there, of course when I tried it, Ding red flag, and on every different line after that so I went back to a tighter line.
A day or two later hustling through there I went wide and thinking I was:censored: I eased off. WHAT???WHERE??? No red,and I 🤬 a bloody good lap and worst is I still can't find that good spot!! :banghead:

Retiree put your wheels either side of the bump on the inside of the corner.
 
Thanks UpTopLog I'll do that but I was referring to the exit and on to the short straight before the last corner. I really admire how you blokes get those times down,I just can't do it. I reckon my PS3 hates me. Two days ago I was using Hotsaucer's tune with no problem then tried the other settings below it on his post, again no drama. Today I put the first tune back on and what happens. Brake for the second and third corners and it swaps ends in an instant, go near the shoulder and it will grab the brake nearest and it's goodnight nurse.
The only way out was to put the other settings back on. The other thing that gets me 🤬 off is the fact I can be seven or eight tenths up at the third last corner, get through the last corners as quick as I have been and look up on the straight and see that son of a bitching yellow arrowhead in front of me. It can pass me but I can never return the favour. That's enough of a rant for today, I'll have a pill and a good lie down.:grumpy:

If the handling has changed, it's probably down to the weather - makes a big difference on this TT. I found the same thing the other day, noticed that the weather was cloudy, went out of the event then back in, sunshine this time and the car was more stable and faster!

Try it, it really does work.

Geez thanks mate, I never even gave that a thought. Now you mention it I noticed it seemed darker, just thought it was the beer. I'll check that tomorrow, you never know what they'll throw at us.:cheers::cheers:

Retiree in the corner you are referring to, you can go very wide there, even knock the cones over, it does not DQ you. I find that gives more speed through that corner.
 
Tuning is a bitch lol straight up. One setup is faster is certain corners or sectors than others, that's the way it's always been. It's all about finding the right balance between the setups really, if you can do that, you're laughing :lol:

@hotsaucer the setup you published is very fast in the first sector, i am at least a second up until the middle two turns, then i lose the lot. A 1.17 is possible, i just have to hook the whole lap up, easier said than done. Thanks for sharing your setup.
