Speed 12 took awhile but it got there with some agressive settings. Any car that can carry over 90 mph around the long left hander will get gold without too much trouble.

Had a couple quick runs last night and managed a 1:27:160 with the RE Amemiya FD3S RX-7. Have they dialed down the grip levels for this event??

The grip is reduced. But 600pp is asking a lot from SH tires already. The track is cold so it makes sense if you are after realism. But the fact the tires never heat up and the fuel is always full just kills that feeling.

EDIT: whoops lol CH would be insane.

I figured that was the case. It makes it a pretty challenging event. I've driven this track countless times in the RE Amemiya on SH in career mode and it was NEVER as difficult as this!

Totally resist the temptation to accelerate at any time unless you are HEADING in a straight line.
And forget about driving hard through corners, not this time I'm afraid. As you get more used to to it you will be able to carry more speed into and out of the corners, but obviously not just yet. ;)
I play with a DS3, I think its time to Buy a wheel. On race tires, I can pretty good driving with the DS3.

Backing the diff accel down will help to keep the throttle down through the curves. I prefer a car that is loose on the limit even here. Understeering cars are even worse here than usual.

At the moment there are 3 DS3 players in the Top10, P1 / P3 / P7, so a wheel doesn't have any
andvantages here.

I use X and square button for acceleration and brake, not sure what the both japanese players are using.

The 1:18,989 by q---DOCK---p is amazing.

I've watched a few replays of the '' top players '' And their drift where I cant, I can almost put down a perfect lap with no drifting, I miss that drifts just yet ... Had the same on the Willow streets TT . Maybe with a wheel I can drift there also and make a top 20 time;)

I have now a 1:10.295 time But I know with that drift skills I can make a 1:9 round..

This sure goes about the Nascar race. Sorry for the Off-topic:P

I think it's because you are using AS: strong, it kills your drift.

Put in a short session and got down to 1:19,407, back at P3. :)

I going to train with the AS off. Thanks for the tip, It's harder but when I learn the drift corners maybe it get better:tup:

amazed your using x and square buttons and getting those times,i use R2 for acceleration and square for brakex and circle for gears

I use the same: x for acc and square for breaks. Is that so weird? Maybe I do something wrong butt I am still in the top 100... Any tip is welcome, I know I can better and there are these forums for wright?

I used to use x and square. I alternate between L2 R2 and analog depending on iff I want to use manual or not. I injured my thumb years ago and the buttons were just too tough to articulate after that.

It does not help that my right index finger is not great either. I need a wheel lol. But I gimp my way to gold anyway.

you have more control with L2 and R2 because you can press half way down on the button unlike the x where you either have your finger on it or not

Interesting ... Go try it soon. How can you fix that? L2 is gas? and R2 is breake? Or you must install that?

Go to the main menu --> press start button --> options --> wireless-controller

You can set gas or brake or whatever to any button you want to use.

There is hope for a good time:cheers: It take a time to train with that new buttons but maybe it helps. Thanks for al the tips mates!

Good luck mate. I tried to change the configuration of the DS3 ca. 2 years ago. I tried to get more throttle control, but i'm using L2 / R2 for shifting, so i had to change lot of things i was used to.
I was using Fuji Raceway to practice and after 40mins i still was going with 200km/h in 1st gear into
turn 1.

So gave up and still use the x-button, if you figure out how to tap it the right way throttle control works good with it.

i use normal view when driving is that standard view

Decided to buy another NSX R Prototype LM Road car as I didn't want to keep playing with the tunes I already had.
And just for fun I raced it absolutely stock, nothing touched, 511hp @ 553PP.
After about half dozen tries I managed 1:25.670.

I like the races where everyone uses the same tune, occasionally.

Red Devil proved that is not always so.

I was on a nice trip through the USA cars. Had fun with the newer Vettes. Ford has those nice GT's and GT40 mk1. Vipers always impress. So what could go wrong? :banghead: Yea, she can round the bend at 90. But every other bend it pretends to be a pickup truck. I tried, I did everything I could think of. Jack up the nose, super high rear SR. Sway bar bonanza. Ridiculous rear toe out. 200kg on the back bumper... No matter what it still refuses to behave lol.
The 900 lb/ft of torque plays a part too in the madness. After 3 hours with little to show for it I just had to stop and park the beast. Left the USA cars for a bit and got a 1 lap gold with the Zonda C12 :D

Red Devil and me have unfinished business... Just not on this track:ouch:
