Excellent tune improved from a 1.21:455 using the NSX to a 1.21:102. (Now down to 1:20.791)(raised the ride height some and adjusted the BB to fit my trail braking driving style)

Had time for 4 laps just now, good drive out of the corners a little loose going into the slower corners. Need to clean up my driving and can see another .500 in it for me at least.

Try this tune everyone!

1:19.107. Still a tenth behind Dock and his amazing controller time! He reminds me of when samurai_405 was at his peak. Incredible stuff from Dock. Anyways here's my setup so far. @perrolocomcquee 's suspension is really good, all I changed from that is the rear toe and brake balance to suit my style a bit more.

Suspension:
85/85
8.40/7.40
6/3
7/5
7/4
0.0/0.0
0.00/0.10
5/7

Transmission:
Set final to 5.500
Set top speed all the way left (124mph)
3.630
2.662
2.215
1.864
1.593
1.351
Final 3.500

If you can't get those numbers, try using the size one rims. Correct me if I'm wrong but don't different sized rims change the values of the transmission settings?

Drivetrain:
5/15/5

High RPM Turbo (last one)
Power limiter at 88.5%
Max downforce front/rear
Max weight reduction

Oh and I saw an X-Bow in 3rd
Thanks for sharing, took 3tenth of my time with a little room for some more!

Might have to try out the X-Bow for this event. I've managed to get a 1:27:1XX with my RE Amemiya FD3S RX-7, but I'm not sure I can get much improvement on that!

sure you will ... but not with RX-7 i guess ;)

the others i mentioned goes about 264kph crossing start/finish with your RX-7 its about 30 kph less. this means your loosing a bunch of seconds on the straight alone.

Looks good, with a little training I might still get a good time. Never thought that but with a stock i got a 1:23 lap. Go try it. a 1.20 lap is in there.

Great tune - faster than the NSX for me, easier to drive. I managed to get it even faster by switching the exhaust manifold to standard, and the power limiter to 98.1% - gave me 497 hp, and power to weight ratio of 1.81.

So i've tryed @Ed_Night tune and it's very fast, X-bow R is great but bit slower with it than the NSX, but i haven't given it everything because i been busy, this setup is much better for controller as well because i notice the 2 controller drivers can tap that X button and keep a lot of traction, i notice all the controllers beating me on corner exits

Used @Ed_Night tune on my X-Bow Street (awesome tune!) for a low 1:25 after a couple of laps. It wasn't the best lap, so I'm sure I could get more out of it, especially in the section immediately after the hairpin. Anyone else find they lose a lot of traction until after the crest of the hill?

try the x bow R its faster still

Yes, it's the X-Bow R you should be using!

I've managed a 1.21.482 using this tune - traction can be an issue, you just have to be careful with the throttle (although I did discover I'd done my original fast time with traction control set to the default 5!). I'm still having to use TC at 2 in order to keep it on the track.

Tried the X-BOW (actually the wrong one) with Ed's tune and managed to take a little off my best time here, 1:20.6 something.
Not a lot, couple of hundredths I think however I was consistently in front of my NSX ghost.
For anyone who is having trouble controlling the NSX I suggest you try the X-Bow as it's much easier to drive.
I'm going to put Ed's tune on the correct car and give it another try when I get a chance.
Oh, I did lower the ballast and correspondingly the PP.

I don't have the R so I thought I'd give the Street a go, and it's quick enough for a gold, so mission accomplished in that respect! I had to make some changes to the engine parts to get the 600 PP rating, obviously, but I think the tune works really well in all other aspects (suspension, lsd). Couldn't get the same gear ratios because of the different engine specs, so I just adjusted the Top Speed to 290 km/h and left the rest as stock.

Might grab the R if I'm feeling like I want to join the fast guys up front!!

ive got the x bow R and cant get the gear ratio Ed has im short on 5th and 6th
Have you followed Ed's instructions exactly? Note first setting of FG is 5000, not 5500. I managed to get my ratios the same as Ed, and also made the power changes I refer to further up this thread.

You may want to use a little toe setting on the rear. Thats what makes it more stable on the outlines for me.
just start with +15 - +20 just to see how it feels like. But carefully increase , to much here leads to understeering.
if you do so and it feels stable enough you might aswell increase the differential setting for acceleration a bit.
To me this feels a lot smoother and enables me to push throttle earlier on the outline.
Maybe a bit slower but anyway what is the fastes lap worse when it ends up on the gras ... :)
