Don't get discouraged over the GT40. I had a hell of a time with it too. The Ford GT in MGI will do great 2nd half.

Has anyone driven the new challenger yet?

I believe we are all in the area where we get the DLC late. (25th)

The 25th is correct...matter of fact, if you jump into a foreign room right now, you can watch racers from other regions driving our American beast. That also means no new tracks this weekend.

DLC Tour Cars' Specs:

Power, weight and PP:

Impreza TC - 439bhp/1140kg PP 574
Evo X TC - 412bhp/1115kg PP 547
R32 TC - 483bhp/1145kg PP 575
R33 TC - 542bhp/1115kg PP 598
R34 TC - 578bhp/1130kg PP 615
R35 TC - 621bhp/1215kg PP 631
Miata TC - 197bhp/795kg PP 472
Prius TC - 193bhp/1035kg PP 467
CR-Z TC - 190bhp/910kg PP 452
Challenger TC - 573bhp/1285kg PP 584 - And from what I read you can add Superchargers and a Stage 3 Engine, so this car will make regs for MG1
RX-7 TC - 460bhp/975kg PP 584
X2011 - 1510bhp/545kg PP 977

That looks awesome, too bad the DLC got delayed for us. I suppose it's for the best, though, the new cars allready need a patch. Your unable to adjust the LSD setting on any of them currently. It is confirmed that you only get one of each with each purchase and your unable to 'dupe' them. One Chally is prolly enough, I guess, the only people who will race them online are in here, so I really don't need an extra for anything else.

Yes and there is no need really for one since they all come with full weight reduction and stage 2 engine already, plus all the tuning parts are already bought for you with them. So other than having two, one to race and one to look at with 0 miles, there is really no point. One will be good for me, but still a little disappointed as I do collect every muscle car and vintage car I run into in this game. Oh well

PD delaying a release of content? NOoooooo. really?
I guess I'm not as excited about this content as most people on here are. Sounds like I can race the new track online as long as someone else has it. So then all I really want is 1 car that I can only have 1 of.. at the cost of having (4) GT-R's in my garage. (My hatred towards GT-R's runs deep with me.) And I don't even race racecars hardly.

Hopefully they come out with a street car package soon that doesn't include a bucket of GT-R's & Miatas.

How about Indy oval for 5 laps as one quick race for Wild Card Week. I only suggest this because I discovered that any old tunes for this oval track may not work anymore. I found that out last night in my NASCAR in an open lobby at Indy. Not much adjustments had to be made to make it feel like home again. But my point is PD added Grip Loss in Indy's corners. So maybe we can run VG1 there for a quick race?
How about a 77 mile(26 lap) race in tribute to Dan Wheldon at the Indy Oval? What class you want to run is up to you. :)

Well, we won't have the new DLC tracks for this weekend, so some longer lap races would work out. Personally, I love racin Indy, Road or Oval. I like the Oval for this weekend just because there are no ovals in the regular season.

I think I'll be hosting this weekend, so far I'm planing to start at Indy Oval (VG1), lap count is up to you all. Going from there to a short track oval (VG2), created and named 'Minisville' by DriveTheGaurd88.
I like the drift session after that (G2 vintage and modern mixed), still working on the complete format for that. I'm skipping the drag racing unless someone else wants to set that up.

If we run long laps in the first two races, and I'm sure the drifting will take up some time, that should pretty much cover the evening. If there's time left over, we can always throw some dirt tires on our vintage cars for some old school 'shine runnin'.

I suggest 26. ;)

I did a few races at the new DLC track. I liek it. Alot. Needless to say I won the first two times out in the 600pp prepped Flat Black/fire red rim 69' Z28.

Also saw the new challenger TC, looks pretty. Though the guy that had it said it handled badly. I dragged raced it in the camaro and won... But still I know nothing on what he did to it to settings. I still want it.

I like the 77mile @ Indy speedway in the FGT cars. Hell, we can even do a Nascar race at Daytona as well.
Besides cosmetic appearance, is there any difference between the '10 & '11 Nascasrs? I think I've only raced one Nascar race online in my entire life.

FGT would be something different from the norm, that's for sure. I'm up for it. 26 laps around Indy in the FGT for the first race, no restrictions on power or tires. If you guys wanna try Nascars, I say we run them around the mini-oval and restrict their power to 500hp. That will literally make for an all out push-n-shove King-O-The Ring match. The winner will end up being whoever can recover from wrecking the quickest. 15 to 20 laps of that ought to release some aggression.

Too bad we didn't get the new kart track yet, a weekend of FGT/NASCAR/Kart would be pretty cool.

Looks like at this point we're looking at FGT, NASCAR, then our attempt at drifting in Muscle Cars.

Wreck'n race'n big heavy Nascars on a mini oval sounds even better. I'm laughing a little on the inside just thinking about it.

We need to do a dirt track race. That was a lot of fun last time. Maybe I'll cook one up in the next couple of days. Maybe a short dirt track. If we could put dirts on the caterham buggy, it would kinda be like a sprint car race. "World of Outlaws"

I got to race on one of the new kart tracks the other night. Def fun guys. I would so voted for this for wild card. No way any cars would fit on that track and be useful.

Alright, Sundays line up is this: FGT's around Indy with no pp or tire limits but tire wear will be ON.

Nascars around 'Minisville' limited to 500 HP, race softs and I don't think there is a pit lane, so tire wear will be off.

I wanna go with a dirt track using any 530pp American Muscle car, new or old. I have the two dirt tracks from last season on my favorites list, or if someone wants to create a new one.

It's gonna be difficult to compete against each other in any kind of drift race, so we'll save that for whatever time we have left over and it will pretty much just be for some very cool lookin' replays and pics. There will be prizes for the winners of the races.

I have several of full throttle very wide open gravel(leige) oval tracks I have created, lots of fun!!!!

I'm a little bummed out my 'sprint car' racing with the caterham buggy idea didn't get any support. But that's moot anyways because you can't put dirts on that car. Thanks PD for not having a rhyme or reason for what you can and can't put dirts/snow tires on.

Other then that line up looks great to me. The 530 muscle car you choose for the dirt track doesn't have to be one you're using in the series.

I can live with out drifting if we have enough other stuff to fill the time.

For the record, I went through my garage searching for a topless roadster that would allow dirt tires. I couldnt put them on that Hayabusa/car thing or the Prowler. I would have been all for it, Skel.

I broke out my FGT last night just to make sure I could actually drive the thing. Let me tell you, after all those laps at Monaco in the '63 Z06, the FGT is a piece of cake.

I am down for that, I actually thought that up awhile back when I was writing up different possible series' to run on GTP. And I was gonna classify it as Sprint Cars too, but unfortunately I had figured out that you can't add dirt tires either. How about ESCUDO DIRT TRIAL RACE CARS?? If not I definitely like the Muscle Cars there because all that torque spinning those wheels are cool and make for great dirt/drift racing. Wait till you see all that dirt in your windshield! I actually was racing some guys last night on my dirt oval track. Was too fun, we started off in the Schwimmwagen LOL.

That dirt trial car goes too good in the dirt, nowhere near as fun. Let's stick with the 530pp Muscle Cars. We'll let Ken provide a track for us.

Yea I just was thinking about that huge wing, kinda resembles a Sprint Car, kinda. Yea the thing thats good about the full throttle dirt oval is we all probably suck at it and it will make for some good n' fun racing. It's gonna make for some good pics when we are all sliding sideways through the turns LOL.

Hey Skel, on a side note could you change my cars names LOL not that important, but it's not a 300C, I like to call it my Dodge Daytona. And the Cuda is my 440 Magnum. I'm racing for the manufacturer (DODGE) this season LOL. And I do plan on throwing out the Viper and going with #83 Challenger TC

The caterham would have been a lot of fun on the dirt. Trying to make other cars into sprint cars is just too much pretending.

Ken, I made the changes to the .dwg file. I'm too busy at work today to replace the picture file on photobucket. If I call your Chrysler 300C a Dodge Daytona, some might get it confused with the........ Dodge Daytona.

The new Chally isn't available in the States yet, next week sometime I think. Kaz did however give us a free Stealth GT500 GT-R that you can download from the PSN store, in case you hadn't heard. You can ask Skel about it, I know he was excited...

Yea, between that + the GT-R they added for spec 2.0 + 4 more in the DLC pack = 6 new :censored:ing GT-R's.
Starting to think Nissan & PD are all bed buddies.

Since there is already over 50 versions of the GT-R in this game, I guess I should be glad that they only added another 6.

I hear ya. Although I did download the free one, but it was because I love racing the Super GT cars, and the selection is somewhat limited.

I'm doing my best, but I may be a little late tonight... I'm helping my daughter give a pumpkin a lobotomy at the moment. I'll do what I can to have the room set up by 8:00.
