I agree with having (1) manditory pit stop. The Z/28 RM can go all day long on one set of tires. I think we've mentioned this before last season (I know I did because of the GT40's horrible inability to conserve tires). I think everyone who isn't driving a Z/28 RM will be in favor of this idea. Do this for both G1 classes. And have the pit window open. G2 classes, you're on your own.

I like it. I think those rules will make for much closer racing. The best races are always decided on the final lap. That's what I wanna see.

I think it will be fair too, the cars that are bad with tire wear (Z06, GT40) are very bad, we will still need to consider tire conservation if we wanna be a threat at the end. That means by forcing a pit stop, we are not taking every bit of the Z28's handling advantage away, just bringing it down slightly.

We can do a full One Hour race at one of the tracks this weekend? Vintage Muscle of course.

Or do one 30 min heat Vintage and then one 30 min Modern Heat.

Hmmm...I say two races, using both our G1 cars... I'm thinking 30 min around Nurb in MG1 (no idea how many laps that is), then 30 min around a familiar track in the VG1 cars so we can actually see the tire wear differences...perhaps Road Daytona. Thoughts?

Oooh, Grand Valley full course would be a good one too! Very scenic!

I'm still on my third YLOD patch job, but I get really nervous every time my game freezes or when it starts loading for extended time...I know I'm due any moment.
Any plans on getting a new PS3 in case the worst comes to worst?

OK then Mudd, what about before the PS3 you currently have goes kaput as a sort-of stop-gap measure?

I honestly would like to do a Hour long race on a track like Daytona Road Course using Modern Group 1. I would not want to use the GT40 at all for something like that.

Man, that's gonna be tough...sounds like a decent challenge, though, I'm up for it.

Yea CAM, I certainly wanna avoid any gaming withdrawal, Its just difficult to justify dropping that kind of money on a new ps3 at the time being...

Well I'm hosting a Vintage LeMans Race Sunday at 8pm cdt, so if you were to race some Trans-Am this weekend can I ask that you start like 6pm cdt so I don't miss out? Unless it's just for practice, then no worries.

Sorry, but I want to keep the same time for our starting/practice. 6 Central is 5 o clock here which is too early for me, and possible mudd. That and Trans Am series was going on before your Le Mans Series so it would seem kinda weird to move our schedule to meet it's schedule.

I want to start this weekend. I honestly do but need a majority vote. I am kinda tired of waiting really, we've pushed it back almost 3 weeks now in a row. In all fairness I missed my fair share of races last season but nothing was re done because of it and that I do not care. I did my best to make up for it. And even if I did not do as well I would still be happy with what I was able to get in.

But as always I have stated we work on a vote deal, majority wins. Otherwise, if we do not do a Start this weekend, than I want to at least see us do a Full 1 Hour race at one of the circuits we will be running or Daytona Road. I really want to see how it the cars stack up. And I plan on using Modern Group One for it.

Some reason I am in the mood for a Endurance against other live people that isn't just turning left.

Dude 6pm cdt is 7pm edt n the op says between 7 & 8pm edt, sorry to bother u

 I got it backwards, long day. I do ti with teh freakign AM and PM bull crap. Sorry.

So basically be starting it same time then. I just say 6-7 to give time barrier. But most time official practice begins at 7 and race starts 15 mins before 8 generally so I do not see any change needed nor any conflict yes?

Yea, you confused the heck outa me for a minute there. Our normal schedule should work out fine, and the sooner everyone shows up, the sooner we usually start. I hate to put it off anymore too, but it really seems a shame to start the official season with so many of the regular key racers missing. Everyone misses a race at some point, it just feels like our season opener should be full grid if posable. If we can find something just as fun to do, such as the exhibition race Kal is proposing, I say let's race!

Well, I am guessing that Season Opener will not be tonight. However I do want to do a Full One hour race at some kind of track. Thinking Daytona Road or Laguna.

And to make matters worse, I got some thunderstorms headed my way.:nervous:

guys, by the way, I wouldn't be butt hurt at all if you went along with out me. This is the reason why I wanted to set up the "best out of...." from season one.
I just did some deep sea fishing, all I got was some 5-6lb tuna, then tried using that as bait for bigger fish. no go. Looks like I'm having fresh tuna tonight. Good stuff.

What the...?!? Why are you posting in here? Shouldn't you have your feet in the sand, elbow deep in a bucket of Corona's?!?

Two cars right?
If so I'd like to run my #32 Corvette ZR1, and #31 Camaro Z/28

BTW - 1:08.478 fast lap in that session I was running tonight.

4 cars the two that you have and two "street" prepped muscle cars. Both @ 530 PP on SS tires. One vintage one modern.

To avoid confusion, for the first 5 weekends (starting this weekend) we will be starting off with a Group II race featuring the Modern 'street prepped' 530pp on SS tires, 8 to 12 laps depending on the track. We will follow that with the Main Event Vintage 'race prepped' Group I cars, 640pp w/any tire, 15 to 25 laps depending track.

After the first 5 tracks, we will switch to the Group II (530pp) Vintage with Group I Modern (611hp/1250kg) for the later half of season.

Alright, so my list of cars would then be:
G1M: #32 Corvette ZR1
G1V: #31 Camaro Z/28
G2M: #33 Camaro SS (It does say both variants)
G2V: Pontiac Le Mans GTO

Ok everyone, you can all relax now, I made it back.

I was inbetween activities (deep sea fishing & lu au).

Anyways... You get everything figured out there JL? I know it's kinda a goofy setup we have this season. Normally we do just vintage G1 & G2, but wanted to try late model cars as well with similar format.
For now, you only have to worry about vintage race car & modern street car. After the half-way point, it will be switched.

I got everything figured out, and got a picture sent to Kal for the roster post.
Yup. If you like Ford's york green Stratos you're gonna love my color choice for my cars Skel ;)
