Update day 3


F1 2012 2.5 End of Life update

This update adds a new Schumacher 3D Helmet to replace kunos one I was using for the 3rd schumacher skin

It also adds Ferrari India skin with the navy flag, renamed S4 to Valencia so that people knows that this S4 skin is from Valencia with Valencia mirrors

And finally, all cars have realistic leds animation, each team had a preference, catheram and ferrari had green leds for kers, redbull had a red drs button in the middle of the steering wheel, lotus marussia and other teams used the first two green led to tell that you are in a drs zone, and last 3 green drs to show you activated drs. Each car has its own animation. Discover them all. Kudos to Warlol for gathering all information about LEDS animation of each teams

This also fix any DRS leds from original codemaster steering wheel that had no shader applied and was all black and very reflective.

Fixes :

- Fixed Ferrari cockpit that had a white part due to bad UV mapping, fixed alpha testing on steering wheel decals and having the wrong driver3D.ini

- Fixed Mclaren Hamilton Silverstone helmet showing button skin instead

- Fixed redbull cockpit overlapping with another car part

If you have black tyres in game, switch compound once to force Assetto to load the textures, and it should work correctly for every compound you chose.
 
Can't seem to figure out what I did with Crew Chief, but my spotter is no longer telling me when I have a car on my left or right. Anyone know which option I may have accidentally disabled? Thanks...
 
Was having a look at different patreon sites, am a paid member of few.

Have downloaded some of Ceky's public releases before but was just looking at he's fee's.

Madness!

Fortunately you can find all he's ripped mods on YouTube lol!

Don't get me wrong, he's conversions/work is good but fee's are a bit over the top

Ceky pretends to be some all mighty modding god for AC, Have talked to him previously when he got exposed for stealing other peoples mods and selling them as his own and selling broken & unfinished garbage and he just talked to me as if i was some idiot who didn't know a single thing about modding, and how all the issues i had with one of this cars was cause i somehow installed a car wrong... dunno how holes in the body could be results from installing a mod wrong but should explain his character and his outrageous prices.

He is the epiphany of an inflated ego.
 
@JK1977 something else for the Charger:
The rev LEDs didn't flash near the rev limiter because the RPM trigger was set too high.
The flashing frequencies were all different too, which looks very odd.
Some also did not light up with the correct LED colours.

Try this digital_instruments.ini which corrects the flashing trigger, synchronises the LEDs frequency, and lights them up with the correct RGB colours.

Again, these are all things you should really pick up by yourself during testing and not rely on others to fix for you after the fact.
Less quantity, more quality perhaps? Or just slow down a little?
Where does this file go or settings
 
Works only on oval now, I beleive its an update they made awhile back
I haven't tested it yet, but it looks like disabling Realistic Mode might enable spotter also on other tracks than ovals.

You are my hero. In my case, Realistic Mode was already disabled but I still didn't get car left\right messages. So I enabled it, saved the profile and restarted Crew Chief. Then I disabled it, restarted crew chief and the left\right messages are working again. Guess somewhere along the line CC got confused that I already had it disabled and was acting as if it was enabled. Reseting the option made it work again.

Here's a small update to the interior to the Dodge Chager STR8 GR.3 (Fictional Race Car) by JK1977

Do think that this car still needs a bit of work in the interior 3d model and texture allocations.

This is the best I can do with the textures allocated in this model :)

Copy my textures into each skins folder.

  • Added curves to Bulloni_Loghi texture and upscaled
  • Added curves to detail_parts_out and upscaled
  • Reworked details_racing_01 texture

the last with this problem is Ferrari 365 GTB-4 Daytona 1971 Competizione by F302, before cars like Corvette Z06 by Jerry Wei (later was fixed), and other ones that I cant remind now...
FYI, I got the Ferrari working on CSP 0.1.80 preview 1 following racinjoe013's instructions (and with extended physics off in CSP, if that matters). Before that, I had the same problem you're having. The only anomaly I'm seeing is that the image in the central rearview mirror is frozen (though the side mirror is fine). But that's easily corrected by setting it to "monitor" in the Mirror Configurator app.

Now the Opel Ascona (skins) are a little more presentable.
I still need a few more details.I edited them from a drawing (side view) that I found on the internet.

And while I was at it, I decided to adapt the skins from the (Audi A1) Monte Carlo 1983
Inclusion of a new co-pilot (3D driver) in the Audi

How does CC know the track you’re driving on is an oval or not?
I have spotter turned off on my default profile, as it doesn’t feel right to me hearing that on road courses, but when I ran NASCAR’s at rt_daytona a month ago, my spotter-enabled CC profile didn’t spot.
