i want to kill my assistant

It pays to be extra vigilant on last gen. Case in point- I saved myself from becoming modder fodder after I realized that a modder was in a lobby I was in. I went to passive mode and immediately went to the pause menu to look at who the modder was affiliated with in the lobby. I made sure to stay away from the modder and his friends. Some other poor soul, on the other hand, didn't try to be alert. He killed a friend of the modder and promptly got killed by the modder. He later left. The modder teleported us all to him, but I was saved by passive mode. Once the modder left the lobby, I left as well and went to a private lobby.

Hackers can take you out of passive mode, FYI. Also, if they can drain all of your money from your account and put you into Bad Sport lobbies on PC, then it won't be long before they can do it on last-gen.

I'm like, one of the only people who tried to befriend modders back on last gen. That way, they're more inclined to send a small loan of 10 million dollars in your way.

I have 3 on my friends list already. I had four but deleted one after that modder wanted revenge with a crew he got kicked from (would have deleted him anyway because he never played and also after he did some things that pissed me off). Ironically, 2 of the 3 modders I'm friends with are in that crew, and the leader of that crew is also a modder. I usually don't ask for money since I already got 23 million legitly, but I may ask when I get a PS4 so I don't get broke when I get with the times.

They can, most don't. Though after asking a modder, he said (to his knowledge) that it isn't possible for a modder to take your banked money. Not banked though is absolutely doable and I've seen it happen to players. Most of the time, I see modders self clear themselves from bad sport rather than put someone in, and usually, if a modder tries to lock a player out of GTAO (which does happen, I watched it happen to a friend), that's an instant ban. I will say this- a combination of being in passive mode and being on the Ferris Whale can save people from being toyed with. For some reason, it seems like modders cannot get someone from that.

Screw modders. I had a bounty, stayed inside the Pacific Standard bank (again), someone teleported to me (again), I instantly left and sent a report ticket to rockstar. Meanwhile, he sent me a message saying something among the lines of:
"I nevr get band hahahaha looooooooooooser"
When I told him he had been reported already, he said:
"I dont belief u hahahaha looooooooooser"

Man I need a ps4

I'd just like to be that one guy that goes all grammar police on a modder.

"I dont belief you"

"*i don't believe you."

The LOLs would be massive...

...then I'd get hacked...

I already said before that modders can self clear reports. If people want them banned, call Sony or report to Rockstar online. Don't use the report feature on a modder in the lobby because they will self clear and also know by name who reported them- thus leading to either more game trolling or also vulgar texts. Follow the advice in the community response on this question. Do your best to acquire evidence as it'll help them out.

As I said, I sent a support ticket to rockstar. I didn't report him in-game.

I play in private lobbies most of the time or play with modder friends. If I run into a modder, I just look for another lobby or go to private lobbies to get away from them. Tonight for sure will be spent in a private lobby since a friend I play with said he will be getting on, and that guy outright refuses to be in public lobbies. It's ironic to me since the guy has a modded accout but I'll go without one.

I can't believe people still play on the PS3. The modders would make me never play on it.
I usually just play in a private lobby with GTP crew members, or I get some real life friends and we get a little party going

On PC, they drain your bank account by dropping Luxor Deluxes onto you with very low damage values. They instantly explode as soon as they come into contact with a solid surface (generally, your car). The hackers trick the game into thinking the Luxors are insured, so you have no option but to pay for the false insurance cost repeatedly.

R* has temporarily disabled insurance costs for destroying other player's vehicles for this reason. I think it should permanently go away on all platforms, it was an unfair mechanic anyway. What if you destroyed the other player's T20 for self-defense? There go your 27k.

Jet griefing rarely happens anymore on last gen because on last anyone in a jet usually gets blown up by a modder. The only exception is if the modder is with a jet griefer or is in a jet- then it still happens. Though I have seen before where modders try to kill jet griefers with mods on while flying and fail because they get out-piloted by someone who is a good pilot. That usually results in a modder taking away the jet and the person getting blown up by the modder.

Good : Crusing around in my cars .
Bad : When folks in a jet come and destroy your crates . I hate jet griefers. Is griefing bad on last-gen @Aggserp4 ?
Most sessions have a guy who at least OWNS a jet and uses it when someone has a bounty. Pretty bad but the jet is legit so it's the same on all platforms

Best: Beeing in a public lobby for a couple of hours with @Sting @STI9 and @250 GTO with only one other player that joined. And after they left, I could still be alone in it for another couple of hours, making a total of $509000 by buying and selling crates and doing some other CEO-work:tup:👍

Worst: Having to go to bed because it's 3am and my son will most likely be awake in a couple of hours :guilty: But I'll be watching a lot of tv in my garage. Cause I'm NOT willing to let this opportunity be totally wasted ;)

Join me if you'd like a great opportunity to make some cash. Just "join crew" until you find me. Like I said. I'm NOT leaving this lobby;)

Dammit man I joined your lobby a few times and all you were doing was sitting in your apartment

I decided to be the bad guy for once:
I was casually buying clothes until some dude in a gold dilettante with blacked out windows came to pick me up. I got suspicious and instead of getting in the backseat I stole the car! They just got a random SUV from the street and the pursuit began.

I found a scrapyard at some point and decided to destroy the car. It was insured, right? Well guess what. It wasn't. I didn't get a notification and no money was deducted from my account so I think it's safe to say I just destroyed a car that guy (who was a lower rank than me by the way) spent over 100k on.

Man I'm evil.

No, I didn't. I was in my garage ;)
Like I said, I had to go to sleep, but didn't want to risk to loose the opportunity to have another "private-public" lobby when I woke up. Unfortunately though, I was in a full lobby when I woke up, so I just logged off.

Deathmatch in my dailies, so I pulled up Compound with weapons set to Forced Only (Pistol) and sent the invite. First to accept was a rank 8000 and I just resigned myself to the belief I would get destroyed as they manage to either kill me without firing a single shot or somehow have access to a Combat MG. They stay when I start the match and as I set my toast style, I look over at their stats and see that they're wearing the glitch outfit that leaves only the head visible...no chance I'm winning this one, but it's only 5 minutes and I really don't give a flying 🤬 about my K/D.

Match starts and I get a headshot not ten seconds in, but they respawn and get me with a few fast body shots. Good news, though, they don't seem to have any distinct advantage aside from the near-invisibility. I'm really flying throughout the area now to avoid being a sitting duck and collecting health, armor, and BST as often as possible. I get 7 more kills--mostly headshots--and they get me again with several taps to the body. I manage to get 3 more kills--all headshots--before the end of the match and they vote 'Dislike'...I laugh. I rarely choose anything other than 'No Vote,' but I had to pick another option this time...

👍

Yesterday I played a dm with a rank one who ALWAYS knew where I was without the lester "reveal players" thingie and would insta-headshot me the moment he saw me. Then went to a lobby with a hacker who spammed mlg videos at full volume. GG

Had to do a rally race yesterday. Set it to Criminal Records and only 1 lap. Some low level random joins and as soon as I start: "You have been kicked from the mission". 🤬 you R*.

Had a great moment last night.

I was testing out the Seven70 when my irl phone rang and I had to put the controller down for a few minutes. Came back to find that I had respawned and was now a block away from my car, it had been long enough my kill wasn't listed in the kill feed under notifications anymore, but I still wanted to get the guy who got me. I hit the share button and watched the clip, found out who did it, some guy drove up beside me, walked up and got me from a foot away with the shotgun. I made my way across the map to where he now was. I hit Ghost Organization as I approached and was able to get him 3 times, but then he left the room. Woo-hoo!
