I spent well over two hours trying to get the gold on the first amg challange, in the Gullwing but was always well short.

Forgot that i had been fiddling around with the settings and was on manual instead of auto.

I did think the top speed of 103mph was a bit crap.:dunce:

For me it has to be last night.

I was driving the Japanese Championship in Expert, won the first 4 races (just) and decided to forfeit the last one, since the A.I was 180 points behind.

But... Instead of starting the last race and quitting it, i chose the "Exit" symbol...

So instead of a nice cash bonus and a prize car, i got nothing. :dunce:

Or selling cars at the beginning of the game once I cleared some races in order to get some extra money. Only to realize that my slightly tuned cars could have been used in B-Spec.............

Your biggest 🤬 up is......... ?

Pausing an endurance race with 7 laps to go and bumping controller, moving arrow, and exiting instead of resuming.

Accidentally copying the backed up data instead of the current data, costing me a week worth of racing. Thus retired me from GT5 :)

I Race-modded my fully tuned ZR1... When I raced it with the RM is almost started crying because I miss my old one T.T

Happened to me on the last 5 laps of the Grand Valley Enduro.

I redid it with my brother at the wheel with the A4 Touring...something fast had to go on the road.

I have done that multiple times. Always forgetting to start the last race then exit.:scared:

This. I sold pretty much all of my cars and prizes to get extra money, but found out that most of them I could use in A-Spec, and most in B-spec.

Hoping for the perfect racing game was the stupidest thing i have done with GT5.

It's not bad but i did feel stupid for hoping for a completer package......

The trouble with this thread is - there's going to be a load of "I accidentally quit an endurance race" replies, and there are many of these threads already.

Forgot, put a wing on Volvo 240 Wagon. That's just stuuupid!

Gt5 loads data on game load then a few secs later it starts saving again. It does saving/loading at unexpected times that I turned off my PS3 and corrupted the data. Luckily I back up very regularly.

Also when leaving my PS3 in the living room trusting my family to leave it alone when paused during an endurance race.

Isn't it cute? BUT IT'S WRONG!!

Thank you mister administrator/ moderator. Oh wait... You're neither.

I love posts like this. Good communities are self-moderating, GTP certainly isn't that.

The worst decision I've made in GT5? Painting my Zonda R bright orange. I don't like it any more, I want the unpainted look back...

OMG, you did the same to a car as I did. Look up ^^

Bought a couple crappy cars I already had forgetting I had them cause I figured it might be fun to tune them up a bit and screw with them. Now I have two! (I'm looking at you A112 Abarth!)

I stayed up all night playing GT5 on day 1, I was still playing when I realised I had to go to school, I get there, fall asleep, get detention, fall asleep again....

Bad idea...

👍 The same thing... feels soooo soooo baaad :ouch:

I bought a CRZ for the seasonal... immediately did my standard mods of racing air-intake, stage 1 engine, etc. Couldn't undo the Stage 1 for the seasonal so had to buy another one. :(

Why do you do this? Its not reversible, and some of these cars are good enough as they are. You should try them out before you start changing them up.
