đź‘Ť I've done the same, but was needlessly cocky and handbraked sideways over the line.

After 1 more lap i finished last :P

lol I did the same ! And it took me a good 10-15 seconds to realize what was going on, since I was waiting for the menu to show up ! All this time, I was telling myself : ouch I hope these dammages won't be taken into account by the game, 'cause it ain't my fault, it's the game's fault :-))

Was leading by 10 seconds on the "last lap" but I was I was desperate for the loo so I knew I hadtime to cruise over the finish line line. I cruised over the finish line and ran to the toilet. I came back and realised it was not the last lap and I had gone down to last place :(

Yelling and yelling at my Bob during a 9 hour race when he would not go over 50 mph, then I see that the gas tank was empty.

Looking for that perfect car to run in a seasonal time trial, buy it new, change the oil to find that NOW its HP is too high!!

During the 4hr roadster race I was 3hr 15min into it and needed a break so I asked the wife if she wanted to do a few laps . She raced until about 10 minutes left paused the game said she had enough so when I went to start back accidently picked end race with only 10 minutes to go ! Took weeks to get over that dumb moment .

20 hrs into the 24 hr nurb i decided to take a break and go to bed so i could finish in the morning... when i woke i found that my mom turned it off so my sister could play wii and said it was a waste of electricity :/

Telling Bob to speed up because one of the AI cars looked like it was closing at an alarming rate - then realised I was looking at the wrong arrow and it was me closing on a backmarker. :dunce:
What's most embarrasing is I've done this more than once.

how about losing your first traded car 5 minutes after you get it by restoring the wrong data? Only saw it for a second, obviously never drove it :D

Trying to do the 4hr Tsukuba race with the roommate while drinking. Somewhere around 10 shots we forgot about the pit stops, then blamed the gas pedal for not allowing us to speed up.

Devoted a whole race in this weeks seasonal events classic to just runnin the AI guys off the road and then trying to win in the last lap, big fun :dopey:

I installed a doggie door.

Half way through an online race, both dogs came running into the house full-speed through the door, made two laps through the living room and unplugged the USB cable between the PS3 and my wheel. Somewhere across the country are 5 people who are wondering why I suddenly yelled the Luke Skywalker "NOoOOooooOoooooo...", abruptly decelerated, drove into the wall and then left the room.

I'm not sure but I think the dogs were laughing at me. They looked very content.

I hit the "PS Button" mid race many times! and it's lost me the races :-( I'm thinking about making one of those little covers for it. like the kind they have on nukes and bombs lol

Bought a Lotus Esprit and tried to see for how much it could sell. Then instead of canceling it, I had it sold :embarrassed:

fixed.

@topic: doing the Indy 500 (A-spec) during the night and quitting at lap 78. But meh, it's not the proper time to do it anyway.

absent mindedly reloading another save game (i was relaoding for tickets, as i kept getting crappy stuff from the previous 5-6 and i was annoyed) when i won a TAKATA NSX

:ouch:

Make me one too.

The first time I did the Endurance race at Leguna Seca, I went to pit for the first time and smashed into the wall because I wasn't familar with the pit entrance. That isn't bad. Doing a second and third time was the bad part.

Lose about 19 mil in credits today.

And yes i was cheating so it doesn't bother me as much as it would if i wasn't cheating.

sat down at my G25, loaded up the Top Gear Test Track for some cars I just bought, and wondered why the Audi A8 LMS had no brakes!?, asked I, as I depressed the clutch pedal numerous times...

I have plenty of these, but the best one is from an online race I had with a friend at La Sarthe. On the Mulsanne Straight leading into the final braking spot, I was in a Euro hatchback and properly took the corner. My friend in a Peugeot 406 took the corner without "brakes" or so it seemed. He said the brakes were terrible so he didn't bother with it and smashed head on into the tire wall at nearly full speed, worrying me that he was racing online and forgetting that he was racing online.

Quit the FGT championship after winning every race in a-spec thinking ill skip suzuka since ive won all the others to find out it classified me quitting as not even racing at all :(

I've actually almost done that too, almost.

On topic:
Buying Mustang Trans-Cammer for Historic Racing Car Cup just to realise it can't enter.

After 23 hours 52 minutes, at Le Sarthe, B spec bob, have a mate accidentaly hit the power off for the ps3 and the rest of the room. Long story short, I was not very happy.

I take it you did the manly thing and beat him to death with a spoon?

Buying a new ZR1 after RM'ing my old one because I didn't know parts could be refitted. Albeit that was a while ago, when i was new to GT5.

Going over the Cape Ring jump, thinking i'd be able to take the next turn even with a high speed. Boy was I wrong.
