Lending it out to a friend on the basis that I don't get time to play in the week, so wouldn't miss it. The plan was that I'd get it back for the weekend. That was three weeks ago.
Next week is the half term holiday. So if I don't get it back tomorrow, I don't know what I'll do.

I miss it so much, it's unbearable!

For an old seasonal race, I bought a NASCAR then thought an oil change might bring it up to the HP limit. I was WRONG, it went over it. That resulted in a second purchase of a type of car I really dislike. :grumpy:

+1 right here. Had to grind until the dirty oil brought the hp down.

Also I sold at least ten cars to get a touring car I couldn't wait for, then it shows up at the online dealer :(

Why do you do this? Its not reversible, and some of these cars are good enough as they are. You should try them out before you start changing them up.

I don't do the Stage 1 anymore.

I generally do the exhaust and intake mods by habit out of the old philosophy that most manufacturers are making compromises that are rarely rooted in pure performance. So generally, I do the mods that can be "undone" later now and only do the stage upgrades when I'm tuning. I much more rarely do the lightening when tuning, as well.

I only keep a few classic/famous cars as stock and that's usually a second example (I have a second Enzo, for example that's stock while the other one is completely maxed).

I was up extremely late one night driving down the Grand Valley straight. I started nodding off and rammed my RM ZR1 into the tire barriers at the end of the pit road wall. The car flipped about six times, even piroutted on its nose a bit before it reset.
The good thing about it was, I got the Rollover trophy.

Last night during a cart race at Tsukuba. Leading by 17 seconds on the penultimate lap, spun on the final turn and fell into the pits. Slammed my brakes, steered away, pressed circle, pressed start...everything I could to try to avoid pitting, but it was too late...my AI drove me in. I pitted, came out on cold tyres and spun in turn 1......finished 3rd.
Not a terrible loss but, I felt pretty stupid.

I was rubber band grinding for some cash (bleh, can't be bothered with indy, sorry). Ended to grind to finish up the last of the AMG driving academy.

Advanced Nurburgring full lap (300SL rain). Kept wondering why the hell i couldn't beat it, why the car kept redlining in corners, spinning out like crazy, cursing, etc. It couldn't be this hard right? I have gold on everything else.... I took my foot off the gas once, noticing I was under full throttle. I checked my wheel, unplugged it, and I couldn't figure out the problem. 2 HOURS LATER, I look over to where my controller was sitting plugged in, with the rubber band happily holding the accelerator down. :ouch:

turned off controller/took rubber band off. Beat gold the next try by 18 seconds.... Finished the rest of the academy in the next hour.... Sheesh!

Isn't it cute? BUT IT'S WRONG!!

I painted mine in chrome silver. And I don't like it. Guess I wasted a chrome chip.
Is anyone interested in a chrome silver Jag? I'm looking for a Toyota GT1

That's such a win.

Nothing really major, though i did buy a 458 itaila hoping there would be an RM kit.

Also 2 days before the schwimmwagen challenge i sold it to buy a vanquish. I guess its okay if you want to bring something different online.

Buying a Jaguar E-Type. That thing can not even take a corner without sliding everywhere.

I was playing online and talking to someone who wanted Toyota gt one and how rare it is. I check used car dealer and see one there for 3 700 000cr. I have approx 4 000 000cr.
talked to the guy again he wants to trade it for a Miura worth 15 000 000. I trade, and get the Miura and go straight to sell. "this car cannot be sold, would you like to remove from garage?" LOL and the guy says no trade backs. I was saving for a car for historic race cup or Gran turismo Championship.

I realized how dumb it was only after about 30mins of doing it. Driving a go kart head on with a Dodge Hemi Truck at max speed on Special ROute 7 with my gf. we were just laughing the whole time.

I managed to roll over a X2010, by myself, on a flat track, I'm still wondering how that's possible.

Was about a half lap from the finish of Nurburgring in the last race of the dreamcar championship. I needed to win the race to get the gold and was about 3 seconds out of first place. All of a sudden, my car became totally unresponsive... the controller battery died. Before I realized what the problem was and could get up to plug it in, I was about 40 seconds off the lead...

Ended up getting the bronze, but man was that a bummer...

I was doing the 9 hour b-spec indurance and u was 5 hours in it so I decided I would play XBOX 360 so I picked the game and for some stupid reason I pushed eject on the ps3 instead of my 360. Lol

This was before the patches fixed this. Before it would just exit the race right away without even asking you if you wanted to or not.

I was on lap 67 of 90 in the Laguna Seca 200 miles endurance race. I was grabbing something on the far right of my couch, and I accidently nudged the left stick so that it highlighted "exit race".

I even looked at where it was highlighted for a good second or two, and I still pressed X. Exited the race, after making great progress. Had to start over from the beginning. I went into total rage mode. :banghead: :dunce:

Not too bad but this made me feel totally dumb.

Racing online & Fuji came up. We were out on the warm up lap all in zondas & i had a few guys behind me pretty close. Anyway we got to the part of the track where the real tight hairpin is at the bottom of the track after the long right hander so i slowed right down & turned in only to realise it wasn't there & we were on fuji gt not fuji f & everyone went sailing by :dopey:

I have consistently let go of the controller at the finish line of Nurby, only to go careening into the wall because it's a 2 lap race:ouch:

I set Bob off doing the Formula GT championship. I had just finished the second to last race and could not be caught up on points, because of this I thought I'd skip the final race... instead of starting the final race and retiring though I clicked 'Quit' instead.

Hours of my life wasted and I've still not brought myself to start that championship again. I am an idiot.

Stupidest thing i've done?..... buying GT5 Prologue.....

Seriously, I was doing the 9 hour endurance and roughly 7hrs in i had a toilet break, made a cuppa, had a sandwich, turned the power off and went to bed. It was while i was getting into bed i said...."DOH!"

LOOOOOL! That was something else! :D good job! loooool

In the S-License test on the Tokyo track with the Ferrari Race car (don't know if it's S-3 or S-4??)

Anyway, got bronze no problem, thought I could do silver quite easily. I'm not someone attempts gold on the licenses, I'm just not that good.

Anyway after a few attempts, I got into first place waaaay before the end of the lap, stayed ahead well, and clipped the wall in the slight right bend just before the finish line and got DQ'ed.

Tried about 30 times again to get the gold I would have, and just can't make it stick. Can't even get silver....

Really annoyed with myself....

Did that myself, it was seriously annoying. Was that mad about it though I decided to jump back in straightaway to get it out of the way.

👍 I've done the same, but was needlessly cocky and handbraked sideways over the line.

After 1 more lap i finished last :P
