Do you ever miss the oversteer and hoon potential ir did the mustang pretty much get all that out of the way?

Came across this Audi S7, never seen one in this colour before, looks pretty unique.

Maybe a paintswap

I am all alone with my standing, take the OEM looking wheels, or take wheels that are a lot lighter (like OZ).

The Emerald green is nice but the pic is a bit over lightroomed
Looks like this with normal eyes

Nice coulour either way. I've been looking in VAG colour, and man, they have some awesome paints (cassis pearl, Mica Turquoise,... )

I got all my hooning out of my system with the Mustang :P I can still have loads of fun with the S4, just not sideways.

Be cautious hooning 4*4.

The scandinavian flick works on quattros, or even just going in a tad to fast, with hard braking,...

but Audi's have a very high threshold till the limit of the car, but the limit is narrow and then the car gets really stingy. (a porsche for exemple the threshold is way below, but the limit is wider than on a Audi)

Driving quattros on the limit is very different from a fwd or rwd car. But they make as much fun, and your safety level till the limit is so much higher, thus feeling very safe on normal road use.

Bro, do you even flick?

 Gorgeous S4 man!

 Thanks :)

Yeah i'm no where near skilled enough to attempt that, i'll stick to driving sane now! :P I can't get enough of those upshifts with the paddle shifters at 6500rpm. I really cannot wait for the AWE exhaust.

Just skip to 2:10

That's more or less what it will be like, he's running stock downpipes though i'll be having resonated. I heard it has horrid drone with the S-Tronic without them.

That exhaust sounds mad... but with an Audi S4 engine, wouldn't a straight pipe sound even more amazing? Kinda like an F-Type.

I hate it whenever I hear or see the term "Scandanavian Flick" now, because all that comes into my head are people who know nothing about cars other than from Top Gear.

I could get a non resonated downpipe but like I said earlier everyone including the manufacturer highly recommends the resonated downpipes for S-Tronic transmissions otherwise the drone is absolutely terrible.

Basically what im after is louder and refined sounding exhaust but not full on obnoxious. Im sure a straight pipe would sound amazing and awfully loud. If I had a DD I could put around and not care too much about I would go balls to the wall with this car.

Well I just purchased a pair of "ecode" headlights for the S4. Some guy on Audizine bought a '14 S5 to replace is '13 S4 and sold his pair for literally half the price. They should be here soon, should rekindle my drive to install the grill myself again. I was ready to just wait untill the exhaust was installed and have them do it for me.

Here's a link to them. The main difference is there is no amber side marker which will tie-in to the rest of what i'll be doing to the car and a wider beam pattern. That link also shows what I would be paying but got them for more then half off of that.

I'm hoping now I can sell my OEM ones for at the very least the same price I got these for if not slightly more the capitalize on this opportunity even more.

Are Ecode headlights Euro spec versions? so is the lighting setup different? or is it just the amber sides.

Yeah, they are European. The beam pattern is wider and the side markers are not amber. I believe thats the only difference.

Well the modding process is still slow. Probably wont see a major mod update until next year sometime. Probably April or May. Anyways heres a pic with the ecodes on.

Looks a lot better? The way it should ;)

Now enable the scandinavian mode so the rear lights go on with the Leds on Auto 👍

What is an ecodes?

Not sure how they got the name but they are basically Euro style/spec headlights. Different beam pattern and the amber side markers are gone. It might not look like it helped the aesthetics much but once I add more things I want it will help complete the look.

Ah, where the right side is higher to illuminate signs and whatnot? Cool.

I must be the only person that likes ambers though.

Oh really? The right side is slightly higher but I thought I had pit the housing in wrong... hmm.

Ambers are nice, just with this build theyll look better without. Infact, I might try to get ROW taillights so I can have amber turn signals.

Your S4 looks amazing. 👍

It's almost a shame everyone will remember you for your sister. ;)

Mild update:

Awhile ago at my fitness center I was parking and they had an atrocious pothole in a parking spot that I did not see. It's in an area where once your front tire dips in it effectively lowers the car by a good 1.5-2in. End result:

Hard to illustrate it but know that the asphalt should be level with the concrete:

Then a very minor mod, decided to lose the front plate. I like it.

As far as further mods i'm going to stop speculating what I'm going to get. I keep changing my mind but stay tuned I certainly plan on doing wheels tires and springs first.

I'm in a bit of a conundrum... The S4 is in danger of being returned at lease end folks. The '15 Challenger Scat Pack has got me drooling like the '11 5.0 Mustangs did when they were about to be released. I don't think it helps (depending on how you look at it) that my father will be getting a Hellcat in the near future so I also think it would be cool to have a similar car to my father. The S4 is a awesome car but needs some money put into it so I don't get bored of it. In fact, I already bought a set of lowering springs for it at a steal. But it still needs tires and wheels which is about $3000+ then needs exhaust definetly which is another $1500-1800. I suppose I also miss that V8 rumble which apparently the Scat Pack stock sounds amazing. What do you guys think?

Both cool cars, different class but awesome.

Especially with leasing it's worth a thaught

Drive it first. I still can't get over the horrid blind spot, or how small the driving view is, after a spin in one. It just feels too small to get an idea of everything around you despite it feeling like a big, heavy car. It was a couple years back, but I doubt it's changed at all. I'd give the Hellcat a pass because of the power, but I'd give the rest of the cons a pass as well.
