Good to have you pain. Please get in lots of practice, with full damage in effect the consequences of not training can be disastrous for yourself and others![]()
Gent's, There is a fair chance I won't be able to partake in this weekends event, I was in a horrific truck accident last night and I barely remember it, plus I have many scans and tests and x-rays to for go before the end of today, pending tests I may not be able to compete, I maybe online prior to race time but that would be only to supervise my WEC event, but most likely not racing, (results pending ofcourse,)

May I join Saturday's race at Daytona?
I'd be using the Asparta RX-7 from Ai Mama Mia. Already bought it and I'm a little familiar with it already since I used to have it before my PS3's HDD dumped itself. B)
Gadget334Micho - I'm sure that will be fine. There are still a few spots, especially if poor Dave drops out
👍
I absolutely agree. In the real race you are not allowed to enter the track at turn 1 (they have cones placed there and you are not allowed to cross), neither should you for our race either IMO.

Also, to add on to ANFD, you want to enter pit lane under 80MPH or risk penalty. It comes in two forms
1. If you enter too fast, it sends you car back to the beginning on pit in, costing a second or two
2. Occassionally it also gives you a drive through without stopping. This one can cause loads of time!
so be careful and practice pitting if you get the chance.
Sounds like pit lane speeding on entry is taken care of automatically, but the exit of the pit lane is a different matter and needs some rules applying.
I agree that the correct pitlane exit should be adhered to for all, because by joining at turn 2 it is about 8 seconds quicker than staying in lane all the way to the correct exit around turn 5.
I propose a post race 25 second penalty be added to any cars total race time (roughly equivalent to a drive through) that takes the short cut. We all watch the replays, so it'll be easy to enforce
Any objections to that?
TDZdaveGood news guys, I'm not broken, Just severly beaten, heavy bruising everywhere, arms, wrists, head, neck, ribs, back, knees, feet, The doctor was surprised at how bad the bruising is that I have no broken bones, broken neck or spine, I have no recollection of the crash from around just short of the impact through too around a minute after but even then its still very patchy for 4 hours,
I don't think I will be able to race for that distance, having potentially run the WEC race if I can make it through to the end of that, I may stop through for a look see and g'day though if that's alright with everyone,
Also, What time GMT does this actually get underway, 2230GMT, or is that when the lobby opens? if so, how much time is there between the lobby opening and qualifying?

so HP, what times the lobby open tomorrow? 6:30ish?
The lobby will open in 11 and a quarter hours mate.
MrPainCakeso thats 7:30 am for you? 8 am for me?
I'm happy with this, 75 laps it is.
On a side note I've got 12gb of internet left til 1 May, given this may easily get used (I live with 5 others) my net may get shaped to 256kbps and that won't be enough for racing methinks. As such I'm now a possible non starter, will try keep enough for the race but practice would be non existent![]()
