for me its:
DRY: 2:30's
50% 2:40's
100% 2:55's-3:12's

well HP, if you see this thread today, how many laps are we running?

i suggested 72 if dry, but if it's wet, that will exceed 3 hours.

now that we're getting closer to race time, what settings do you want to use based on the following forecasts:

no rain at 01:00 = ?
light drizzle, no accumulation = ?
light rain, .1mm-1.0mm accumulation = ?
light rain > 1.0mm accumulation = ?
moderate rain 3.0mm-4.0mm accumulation = ?
moderate rain >4.0 mm accumulation = ?

looks like the forecast will be one of those


I believe you mentioned 3 changeability is what you prefer.
we'll need to know:
Weather % (25, 50, 75, 100)
Surface Water % (0-100 @ 10% increments)
Weather Changablility (1-10)


Also, what lounge are we going to run the race in? I think the Crap Enduro (DTM at trial mtn) has the Crap_GTP lounge reserved at our race time.
I sure hope the weather won't affect disconnects. Had bad lag last night in rain with Paincake.

If we can announce all this in advance, it would make this a smoother process in 6 hours. 👍

Looking at is right now, it's showing light rain by 0100, and rain clouds at 2200 (now) so it WILL rain sometime in the next 3 hours. Remember we'll be qualifying for a bit anyway so I'm still thinking my earlier post is looking pretty fair, maybe even up the changability to 4 or 5 because by 0700 Sunday the rain is heavy.

Looking forward to Spa and to the whole race weekend for that matter! With Spa with you guys, F1 in Monaco, Indy 500 at Indianapolis and Suzuka for the Sunday Cup Grande Finale on my weekend program, it's like racing heaven! 👍

Great race. The rain finally came but only for the last 15 laps. I'll trey and do a full race report next week.

Bob, great going wheel to wheel with you. I remember that at the bustop. Wasn't an issue. I thought you were actually being tactical so the YOU got the tow/draft out of Eau Rouge seeing I'd re passed you there the previous 4 laps

Enjoyed chasing you down in the laps before you got D/C'd while you stayed on slicks and I'd made and early switch to Inters. Shame it didn't reach a natural conclusion. Next time.......

Mic, you caused damage on my car unnecessarily twice too mate and the one time I knew I was in the wrong I let you back through because you broke so early and I hadn't got the car fully out from behind you. Put it this way, I would have had pitted as well if you had for damage to make the race fair...

Also, when else did I hit you? It can't have been at Daytona, you crashed all on your own there mate...

heres an idea everyone, for every race you win, you gain a certain amount extra of ballist, ON TOP OF THE 1250 KGs minimum, that would make the racing a lot closer field and stop the ARTA dominance

It's a good idea that has been used in other championships in GT5 and in the real world ( BTCC for example) but its really something that needs to be defined BEFORE the championship starts, not half way through. Might have been a different story for me if the rain had started earlier
