Classic tracks from GT1-4

Anyword yet from Kaz or other members of his team on whether or not well see classic tracks from GT1-4 that were not in GT5, e.g., Hong Kong, El Capitan?

I remember at one point long ago Kaz responded to this by saying they could do that. I think Kaz mentioned Mid-Field during the interview. But will they do it in GT6 ...

They ALWAYS say they could or that it is a possibility, and then it never happens. Just like livery editors or engine swapping.

I want Midfield, Red Rock Valley, Seattle, and Grindlewald at least.

I'm sure we'll see a Seatle circuit at least since it was shown in a trailer recently, I think it was the new NSX trailer. I'm also very looking forward to these original tracks coming back. Especially red rock walley, midfield, el captain, NY & Hong Kong.

I'm with them. ^

I've been asking for all the classic tracks, all, since DLC was confirmed for GT5. I had a link in my sig for a request for them in the GT5 Improvement Forum, but with GT6 apparently getting a DLC track a month - or so, I'm hopeful that they're saving some modeling time and reworking those classic track assets into shape. We've seen their schedule in GT5 is wonky, but it should be pretty regular this time.

I Would pay up to 5.99$ just for Red Rock Speedway Race Track ...

I know Crazy but i just love that track so much. Its still my most memorable gt track ever.👍

I wouldn't pay that much, but yes I would definately pay for this track. I have the most vivid memories of this track when I was a little kid, playing GT2. Licence test in an S2000 for the s bend? And the races on it where so much fun!

Red rock was very nice with that dusk setting. Played it yesterday on my psone. But keep it will be vey different due to physics! It took me a while to adjust. Very nice though.

Yeah i too remember Kazunori's interview, and when asked about Midfield Raceway i think he was a bit surprised that people wanted it back.

Heres hoping...

Since we have karts now, surely Motorsports land should return? Loved that track.

I was completely expecting on the 15th for them to say we have 70 new tracks with the inclusion of all previous title tracks included in Gran Turismo 6! But we are getting 3-7 :(

The old tracks could come as DLC alrite though!

I am really hoping that we get Seattle and El Capitan in the release day version of GT6. There are others I would like to see but I really liked these 2 tracks and miss racing on them.

I'd kinda like Seattle just because I like Seattle; not the track but the city. It's a nice area and it's pretty in that region. I'd still like to move there, in fact, had it not meant leaving my family and home town three-thousand miles away.

Nielsen
They will proably be offered as DLC.

I kinda figured that would be the most likely source of monthly DLC, especially in terms of track DLC specifically.

Love the track ... hate the jumps. I would be so happy if they smoothed the crests of those down a bit. It's not a flight sim

I think Kaz mentioned Mid-Field during the interview.

Do want.

I think more than anything this track is top of my list only shortly followed by Apricot Hill and El Capitan.

I do hope there will be some revivals of these classic tracks rather than a whole host of newly rendered 'original' tracks since many of them are well loved by the fans.

I'm expecting at least Seattle and Apricot Hill to be put in GT6 at least as DLC. It would be even better though if Midfield, Grindlewald, Red Rock Valley, and SSR11 were comfirmed.

At this stage any additional tracks that are half decent and PS3 quality would be welcomed by me.

By half decent I mean no flat, tight, and narrow street courses like London, Madrid, and Hong Kong. More flowing, undulating courses are preferable.

This.

Gran Turismo 6 is going to own gamers' wallets. It's going to be Sony's cash cow as it enters a new generation.

Good for them, they need the cash.

I would like to see Motor Sports Land from GT2 make a comeback. Would be pretty good for karts.

I also believe some retro tracks will be DLC based, bundled with some other stuff to make the packages more interesting. I think you'll have scenery, aero, updated standards to premiums, livery/paint schemes, and more, all as DLC. PD has to find ways to throw in small and cheap for them to do stuff to enhance the value of DLC packages to go along with these retro packages.

I'd have no problem paying for them either so long as the price is reasonable, say $9.99 or less. $20 DLC would turn me off.

I would love to see some of the old tracks as well like Seattle and SSR 11 and some other old classic tracks. Test course will great as well. If they do give us these tracks as dlc hopefully they will be free.

PD should be able to get the original courses from GT3-GT4 out quicker (I think) than the real would courses, no fuss with licensing, field work, travel etc;. Full freedom to do what the want to do. Some of my favorites from GT2, Red Rock Valley, Rome Night my not have a chance since they have to be started from scratch.

I am still hoping that we see at least a couple of those classic tracks in GT6 release. Would prefer El Capitan and Seattle but would be happy enough if either of them were there.

I would also buy either of those as DLC if needed as well as some of the others.
The ones I would not buy as DLC and would just as soon not have in the game are Hong Kong and Opera of Paris, never really cared for either of those though of the two I would rather have Hong Kong
