That part about not posting any more, I lied
Im a co-owner at Swift Motorsport now
Swift Motorsport would like to setup some unofficial night races on Tue or Wed nights starting at 9:30 Eastern. The sanctioning body doesnt run any practice races in the actual F1 cars we are using. Im not interested in running other cars because thats just more setups you have to master for other cars at all the tracks. Also, the Thursday practice time isnt listed in the OP, what time will those be exactly? Anyways, I still want to have multi team night racing. We'll warm up for 15 minutes starting at 9:30 ET, then the laps will be set for a 45 min race (1 hr total commitment) regular format, no pace cars required. Im sure others want to shakedown their setups vs real competition in a decent race to see where they stack up and what they need to tune on their setups before the big race.
Since Im getting antsy to start, we will start next week! Wed Oct 1 9:30 ET. The track will be Laguna Seca. Im wanting to run as much of the schedule BEFORE the season starts as we can, running the tracks in order. Once the season starts, I still want to run the night races every week, but then we'll go back to the start of the schedule and run the upcoming track, so if the next race is Laguna, we'll run Laguna the Tue or Wed before.
Tire rules apply, same compound front and back. Dont need your team color car if you dont have it yet, but use your team car as soon as you do.
I can host these races probably. Ive got a 6mb DSL connection that Im wirelessly connected to my nearby modem. If someone has a faster hardwired setup, you can host from your connection if that makes it better. My PS3 is based in central Tennessee. Password for Oct 1 will be "JamesHunt", first come first serve till room fills up. Room will open no sooner than 5 min before 9:30 ET, as I need time to eat dinner when I get home from work.
