CNET.com Poll: Forza 3 vs. Gran Turismo 5

Wow, the LeMans track will be nice to race on and brings back memories of that track on the GT3 game.
And if everything comes true with what the video suggests, it's going to be one heck of a racing sim game.
Again, I can't wait for either to come out and has me very excited.
Btw, nice pictures.

why? They havent done anything wrong.

Seems to be people are using really petty reasons to bash PD where possible.

I know, this is getting pathetic. When GT doesn't have what I want, I just buy it anyway along with the game that does have what I want. Its no big deal to me.

Le Mans wasnt in GT3. :P

Le Mans wasnt in GT3. :P
Lol, call me old and forgetting.:dunce:
I do remember it being in one of the series though along with many of the other tracks that seem to have been deleted from the newest series of the GT games.
Maybe it was the GT2 game then. :dopey:

No it was in GT4.
Curcuit de la Sarthe I & II (with/without chicanes on the Mulsanne straight).

But yeah, its awesome, i drove it the most in GT4.

I'd like nothing better than to know how much longer I'm going to be fondling Prologue while I wait for the true feast. But as I said in previous posts, Kaz seems intent on springing Gran Turismo 5 in all its glory at the very last. While Forza 3 was finally unveiled a few months prior to release, no one knows the timeframe Kaz is looking at to surprise us. I doubt it's very close to release because the logistics of the gaming business preclude it, with the need for pre-launch advertising, shops offering pre-orders and all that. But I wouldn't be surprised if it's a couple of months or so, just to tweak Ms. A few weeks before the release of Forza wouldn't surprise me at all, and would be such sweet revenge. :D

This would be the DEFINITIVE revenge as the turn 10 director would say:D. He will totally freak out when GT5 will comes out.

I noticed with some of the real life to Froze 3 comparison that Forza 3's cars have slightly off shapes and sizes. The modelling in 90% accurate but on some cars there are flaws like larger lights, odd curves/flatness or mainly positioning being abit off etc.

Could you do some kind of Picture Comparison.

They pretty much build every car ground up, I bet they took FM2 models and improved them a bit. I am not surprised for having wrong car models and tracks being off in less then two years!

That would be great. Say the week before FM3 launches PD announces Porsche, Lambo, damage on all cars, day night cycles, weather, and free DLC for the next 3 years. Lol that would make me laugh.

Yeah great time.

FM3, GT5, And for the new SIM RACERS there is Need For Speed game to get them started.
Also Dirt 2 might have improved physics.. But even if physics are accurate, it depends how they implicit it into game. For example, how car reacts to real life counter part.

For a game that's being touted as a serious sim racer, that trailer just makes me ill. Definitely looking like the definitive arcade racer, unless you can play it without the stupidity which has plagued the NFS series for years.
