Good combo, shame I'm likely out this week. Side note I would have sent you the replay Roh but I've been ill since yesterday and not turned my TV on let alone the PS3.

I would love to join. But due to work schedule, sometimes i wont be able to. Still, please add me into the list of racers. :D

1. Do you agree to abide by the rules and regulations outlined in the OLR? Always
2. Have you read all 3 opening posts fully? Yes
3. Is there anything you dont understand? No
4. Are you willing to perform a few test laps to prove your respectful racing credentials? Always ready to race, even if test.

Thanks for the registration Moe. 👍 I will need you to do some test laps with us guys before I can let you join a Concours event however.

Do you know we are racing on UK time? The events will begin at midnight where you are

Anyway I will send you a friend invite now. Hope to see you on track soon.

That looks like a brilliant combination Captain.
No oil change then?

The only thing that is certain week in week out at Concours, is that you may run your engine to its full potential including an oil change. You can also paint your car and change your wheels. These are permitted every week.

Forgot to mention but can everyone please check their profile page and accept group invitations!

Also, I really need a replay copy of race one at Tsukuba from sunday! Can somebody get it to me by file hosting it or PM'ing me here on GTP!

Thank You.

My North American version (NTSC) is available-would it work on PAL?

I also would need instructions on how to get you a copy...:dunce:

I dont think it would, but dont worry because John has just donated a copy. Thanks for the offer though Jack 👍 Appreciated.

Oh and just incase you do ever need to do this, the process goes like so:

In GT5, select the replay in the theatre section. Click on 'Export Save Data'. Exit the game, and locate your GT5 game save in 'Saved Data Utility (PS3)'. you will find the replay in this folder. Press triangle on the file, and select copy, then the destination will be the USB stick you've put into your PS3 ahead of time. The file will be saved, then all you need to is transfer to your computer for upload, compressing if neccesary. And viola 👍

If you need more in detail instruction there's a link in the WRS forums to a guide somewhere. Cant seem to find it at the mo though :ill:

will def be on for some practice in this bad boy! finally a car i reckon i could do well in as it likes to be pushed to the max and doesn't want to kill you! lol

Ya its not a problem. Got used to it really. Its the only way i can have some good racing. lol. I'll be waiting for your friends list and hopefully get a test run sometime very soon.

But as i mentioned, depending on my roster, sometimes i wont be able to join the race. At least i know i can join a series when ever its possible. :D

Looks like fun. And I thought you weren't a fan of the 'ring. I may get on for some practice in a bit.

I'm really not, but this car and this track go together like biscuits and cheese! :D

There was no other combo I could of chosen really. I may of done myself out of a podium before we've even started, but hey ho, I know its going to be a load of fun all the same! 👍 Cant wait.

Just nipped off PSN to get a bite to eat by the way. Will be back on for some practice shortly.

Im just doing a few test for the super gt series im in, but i will join with you guys in a bit....

Sorry about yesterday lads. For some odd reason i lost connection and seeing how it was late already, decided to hit the sack. I will definitely love to have some more practice runs in the next few days.

As some might know, the Real Mechanical Damage was a...SHOCK! lol. I didn't expect it and at one point i bumped into another racer and i thought it wasn't that much of a bump, but it turns out it was and i had to pit in. Ouch.

It is stated in the opening posts that full damage will be set. But even then if you've never used it before it can come as quite a surprise! You need to be very careful out there with these racers. Everyone on track is very clean and fair, I hope you will be the same! Well, you have to be really, otherwise you wont last long at Concours

Was nice to see you on track anyway. I was told that when you werent crashing ;) you were driving respectfully. Which is exactly what I like to hear 👍

All I have to say is, as many of us learnt last night, be very VERY VERY careful on the Nordschleife when racing . There is going to be an almost inevitably high damage rate, I think in future practice it might be worth re-running it a few times to try to get us all used to racing at those sort of speeds with that amount of space (i.e. lack of ).

Haha. Good one. I will practice though. To get used to a smooth driving all around and make sure i dont make any mistakes and being more disciplined around the track. Slowly ill get there thats for sure.

Some great racing last week guys, especially HSR, had a great battle with Capt D until my dog jumped right under my feet whilst on the straight causing me to scrape the wall and lose Capt D's tow...never mind, was brilliant while it lasted

Loving the look of this weeks combo too, will try to get on for some practice at some point but having a busy week, got lots of building work going at my house at the minute (that I'm doing in the evenings :grumpy:) so everything's a bit crazy for the next few weeks. Will be there on Sunday though 👍

Note to self: must do practice laps before making full blooded attacks in a pack of cars :guilty:

Note to brm, just wait for a mistake, then capitalise.

As for my car, bob is going to dust off his overseas and run that thing in! Losing 40 bhp was ridiculous, no matter how good I came out if corners I couldn't keep up, and was even losing out on the slipstream.

That is exactly why 'we' need to be patient; perhaps waiting for a better opportunity to pass, rather than a more risky immediate pass.

Either that, or have damage set at 'limited' for those super long circuits like Nordschleife and La Sarthe. That way the mistake is penalized, but not the entire remaining lap :)

Nothing worse than having to limp back to the pits through no fault of your own. Not much fun either when it is all your own fault too:)

Fun, being the key word, right? What say you, Concours Club members?

Yes I agree with this fully, and my PSN is Loud86Chevrolet , please let me know this would be my first league and I am a Clean driver, Mic, and would like to be apart of the Team...

Guys I'm running out the door right now... something came up and I think I may miss the start of tU..

I should be home for nine! I hope :grumpy:

Catch you guys in a bit... Sorry :embarrassed:

I second that Jack 👍

Fun is definately the key element for me...I've had good weeks, and recently a few bad ones, but I've always had a massive amount of fun racing with a really great bunch of clean, respectful racers! Apart from the other weekend where it must have been about a million degrees in my room, and there were a few...incidents

Really looking forward to this weekends races though, had a great laff testing with Shin and Cpt D the other night 👍 And hopefully should be online this evening, so I'll see you guys then.

Whilst you all know that I agree with your sentiments exactly, heavy damage will remain on. It is a feature of Concours and I dare say one of the contributing factors to the clean and fair racing we get here week in week out.

We are all adults, and we all know the risks of driving at the 'Ring with heavy damage. If you cant drive appropriatly it will be your own downfall.

The text I wrote for OP#2 isnt there for nothing either. 'Participants found to be driving in a too aggressive manner will be warned, and then they will be gone'.

There really is no need to change the way my lobby is set up. You guys just need to adapt to a very difficult and dangerous situation.

👍

Incorrect registration. Please re-read opening posts and re-register accordingly. This is for the benefit of everyone who races here 👍 Thank you.
