Courses You Hope to See Made

Targa Florio :sly:

Really though I'd like to see Watkins Glen, Okayama, Mosport, and VIR.

I found a good VIR for rfactor that I was able to convert to work with stock car extreme. The graphics aren't fancy, but the driving is pretty realistic.

There's a laser scanned version in iRacing. It's a great track.

You'd probably have to butcher the front straight a bit.

Gentle, rolling elevation. Very high potential speed.

the back to back hairpins would more than likely have to be modified, and the other sharp turn near that's close to lower straight would also have to be adjusted. I've been up all night, if no one does it by the time I wake back up, I'll give it a shot.
I managed to do Sepang but I had to sacrifice one corner (turn 9) and make the two main straights more separated between them (they are too close IRL). I did some laps and its alright given the circumstances

I'm trying to make a version of Grindelwald

My only problem is, understanding how to scale track images.

Grindelwald in GT2 is 1,055 m long. But mine is nearly 6,500 m long . Is there a way, in Photoshop, to scale images so that they drop into the editor 1:1 ? Also, i think i'm going in reverse too !

I can assure you Grindelwald was longer than a kilometre. There definitely is a way to do it, but I don't have access to my laptop right now to sort it out. Trial and error is the best way; if you know the measurement of the front straight, try to match that length, then re-import the image, and match it up with what you've got so far.

Thank you for the tips ! I have also manually drawn it in the Eiffel track that has the hills etc, and though not a perfect recreation of the track layout ( pretty close though! ) it has two amazing downhill sections that are a joy to bomb down. I have only been using the Mazda Roadster, so i am going down them at only about 130mph, but i'd like to take something with a bit more muscle around it too, once i've finished tweaking ;) Those downhills are going to be terrifying hopefully ! Made a Beginner Course ( Drive Park ) and a Citta di Aria too.

Great track thanks man. Do they not allow you to make the sector time at the 400m and 1000m markings as well?
Great for measuring against rival cars, similar to GT5 speed test track.
If not, no biggy. This is still great.
There might be a way, but I've not played with it enough to find out how. There isn't a "sector" tool for the one way designs.

awesome ! i had a small favour if you could try for me.
Could you try recreating Bihoku for me, its like my all time favorite
track, hope to go there one day

The requirements to get these tracks to scale is that one of the straights has to be 2000 ft at minimum. This track's straight is only about 700ft. So it might be able to be made, but the scale would be wildly off.

It's okay of it's a little bit of. Could it be done on effiel please

I would put the middle of the straight that you have to use (2000 ft section) where "village" is. From "noble" to "goodwood" would be much sharper than this because that would be the turn going into the straight (which is like 400ft longer than any section). Also, "club" would not be there. Too sharp. I'll give it a shot

you can scale the reference image to anything you'd like (to a point). You just need a 2000ft reference point on the map. Find the longest straight of the track, measure how long that is, if it's 2000ft+ then use visual markers to line up a 2000ft section of that straight and it should be 1:1.

My PSN is dimebolt-1976

I'm not at my PS3 at the moment, but i think there's a thread on here that shows how to get other's tracks via a web browser :) So feel free to take it. Any feedback on any changes you think i need to do, just let me know and i'll tweak it

Not Targa Florio, but I did Monza Florio :D

Hmm, indeed.

I know just the fast vintage track we can make then. :D

Track length is 5.941 km.

Might need to use something other than Eifel Flat however, it's not really a flat track.

Yeah, I've done several old tracks and I thought of this one too, but I came to the conclusion that it would be so fake being flat, almost as much as pikes peak (didnt even try)

You must cut a little because omplex String have;
Circuit Length 6.981 miles (11.235 km)
and the app just allow tracjs with máx. 10.000km

I tried making it, all went pretty bad but I found it hard to shape the sharp corners. However, I was onto the last corner but I used up all the length. I thinks its pretty hard doing it on a phone, so I'll have to fix my tablet. Thanks and let me know what you think. I'll make a new one on a tablet soon.
