I'm going to practice some tomorrow night. 8pm most likely.

awr117Ran some last night. Anyone else noticing a big difference with SPA between online and offline? Typically i can run near the same times. But for some reason i can't at SPA.
Offline i was hitting 11.3's with high 10's achievable. Online i am only able to reach 12.7 Makes no sense to me. Maybe i was just having a bad run.
I believe there's a difference. I don't even practice offline.
awr117I thought they corrected the issues with a patch. Just strange that some tracks are a matter of .300's of a difference. While SPA, for me, is a good 1.5 seconds of a difference. Wonder why there is even a difference to begin with lol.
Lounge is up guys
awr117Congrats again to ZCrazy for winning the championship.
DA, thanks for taking the time to put this together. I had a lot of fun and it was my first official GTP series! Let me know when you decide on starting up another series. Met some good people and hope to see you guys on the track 👍
toyotsupraHey guy sorry i couldn't race last night i was playing MW3 trying to get a prestige i have been playing that for the past dew days just glued to it Can't wait for next season to start 👍
Hi there.
Maybe Denilson or Wardez already asked it but since the season is now over, i'd like to know your feedbacks about the "open tires regs" combined with the PURE GT500 specs please.
Looking forward to read your feedbacks guys
There were 2 drivers missing so we decided on reducing the race length. Only 6 drivers in a 2 hour race would've been lame lol.
It'll be a little while before starting another season. I'll notify people when I've got it all together.
Interesting Note for Denilson:
Looking back at where my base tune was for the NSX to where it is now, our settings are now very similar.
Early in the season set up-
Honda RAYBRIG NSX:

RH: -1 / +8
SR: 14.5 / 15.5
EXT: 4 / 5
COM: 4 / 4
ARB: 4 / 3

WardezFor open tire series I think taking 20kg of ballast off both the GT-Rs and SCs, then putting some ballast on the NSX (maybe reducing power just a tad) and Yellowhat Supa while giving some more power to the Z would make things about right. It's also worth testing for Hards.
And mediums. Regulations really depend on track schedule I guess.
Dont get me wrong you guys did a great job in leveling the field. Actually the best spec I've seen.
Taking into consideration that, I'd hate to see a stock car type system where all the cars are equal in every performance category, the differences are a good idea. However, I think two cars stand out a little too far in top speed, NSX's & the Yellow Hat Supra. I'd like to see the Z get a weight break as well. If I remember correctly the premium NSX's will out accelerate anything hp for hp and Kg for Kg, so a little dial back on the hp would still allow a 2-4 mph advantage to give it a strength considering its weaknesses and tone down the current 4-6 mph advantage in speed.
Honestly, the Yellow Hat looks to be a little more difficult to level out because it is a really bad car in open spec. I would start with weight and be careful not to completely kill the car that is making its lap time through acceleration.
On tires...until PD gets the tire model some equity, the softs will always dominate. So an open tire model series ultimately becomes a soft series. When its faster to make 8, 35 second pit stops versus 3-4, 35 second pits you have to wonder if something was missed when generating the values. I will say it is closer on time than it has been in the past, but not quite there yet.
My next season will have a two compound rule with mediums and hards: you must run 1 set of each during the race. Another part of that rule will probably have to include a minimum # of laps required for the hards because obviously you wont want to be on the hards for very long. This will be finalized after testing when schools out. I have no spare time as of now.
Also, do gt300 cars face the same strength/weaknesses as the gt500's do? What I mean is, with PURE specs do the gt300 cars need a balanced track schedule like gt500 carded do?
