I purchased a Track Boss from DSD back on the 5th of November, would love to tell you how great it is but I never received it. Also sent an email to Derek to let him know about this, as yet I am still waiting for him to reply to me. Hopefully posting here might speed up his response time. :grumpy:

I reply to every email I receive. There are about four thousand of my customers who will attest to the fact that I respond to emails almost instantly.

Posting your complaint here does nothing to speed up my reply or speed up delivery of your order. Thank you for your recent order.

I explain clearly and on several pages on my site and on countless updates to allow a minimum of 15 working days for international shipments. Shipping speed is out of my control, and unless the customer wants to pay 100 USD for fedex, UPS, DHL or other carriers of that type, the 18 bucks I charge will and must suffice.

If your first name is Rhett, I received your email on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 10:44 PM and replied to it on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 10:52 PM. Check your spam filter if you're the one who wrote me. If not, please send your email again.

I hope your package arrives soon Krusty, but I can attest to the fact that Derek responds to emails VERY quickly. Sometimes, it has been almost instantly for me.

I'm sure you will love your Track Boss once it arrives :).

:tup:great service by Derek:)

For stepping up and going above and beyond, you are not going to find much better than Derek. You'll also struggle to find those that will have anything bad to say about him around here. He offers great product at good prices, and backed with world class service, all important points to me!

Rock on DSD!

Thanks Derek, I just resent the email as it looks like I am cursed and never got the reply.

Thanks to all the others as well.

Fingers crossed, I hope that it is in the next lot of containers that arrived overnight (I live in a remote location between Australia and PNG).

👍

Hello - email gets lost. When in doubt, please send again. I don't leave my customers in the dust. I cannot even imagine doing it. Be patient, and I assure you your order will come.

:)

Derek

EDIT - I have also replied to your email sent close to the time of this post here and forwarded the original email I sent to your reply. Please acknowledge you've received them.

I am having the luck of the Irish at the moment, I sent you a couple of alternate email addresses as my Hotmail is just not getting any replies apart from the auto reply.

Thanks for the concern, I am impressed with all your efforts.

As I stated in my reply to your most recent email:

I reply to the original email used from the sender. If you wish to receive a reply to one of those emails, it would be necessary to send an email from those addresses.

All of your emails to me have received a reply. It appears the issue is with your email account.

Thank you,

Derek Speare

Update:

Big thanks to DSD, as my button box has arrived and an apology to Derek for me jumping the gun.

Fantastic work from Derek and I look forward to spending more money on other items in Derek's catalogue.

Photo of the box installed. PS I had the mount ready to go from measuring a mate on the islands Track Boss.

Thank you for the report - I am sure your box will give you much satisfaction. I have shifters in stock :)

Have the DFGT Mounting plates been discontinued? as they now do not apper on your new site , only been checking for stock for past 8 months and always stated awaiting stock, shame if you didnt support the dfgt wheel even if it is only one item ,

thanks

What is offered on my site is what I offer. I have never offered a wheel plate for the DFGT Wheel.

Thank you.

I think he meant the dfgt aftermarket wheel adaptor that was on the old site....

That component was retired for lack of interest. I don't plan to bring it out again, but should I, my site would have it listed.

Installing an aftermarket wheel on a DFGT is a significant amount of effort, potentially irreversible and also leaves the user without any of the many buttons found on the stock wheel. I don't feel it's a component I'd like to make, and when the demand is most light, my focus must be towards those components with the greatest interest.

So Derek, anything new coming on the T500 RS, can you give a timeline if so?

Wheel plates and shifter adapters are in abundance for G27.
Some of those options for T500 RS would be great...

I want to pimp out my T500RS to bring it up to spec like my CSW.
Badly need a wheel plate and shifter option to support up to 350mm rims.

Attached is a drilling template for the DFGT wheel mount pattern. You are responsible for drilling/work, etc.

@Latte - I made a post a couple of pages ago in my thread here referencing Sam Maxwell's wheels for the T500. His wheels are integrated with stock T500 circuit and retain the buttons. He also has a thread at iracing.
