@Gunstar - there are intentions to make the pads, but there are other components ahead in the line - ty for your order today :)

@Publicsafety - thank you :)

Derek, I would certainly also be interested in the Tilton-style pads for the T500rs when you get them on the market.

In the meantime, I have seen pictures of a T500rs pedal set with the DSD Tilton-style pedal pads on them. Would anyone be willing to share which existing ones you used and if there is a trick to get them to fit the TM pedals?

You may want to ask NeoAgent about his, he posted a pic of his T500 pedals fitted with the DSD Tilton pads back on page 317 of the T500 thread.

They will fit with a bit of "help" - I can't give the "help" though as it's a modification to another DSD component, but we know some folks are doing it :)

As we all know, sim racing folks are a tenacious bunch!! :)

Thank you JogoAsobi and Derek. NeoAgent was a big help clarifying how to make that happen, and I appreciate him taking the time to do that. I knew I had seen those pedals on here somewhere, but couldn't remember where. And the extentions he's added are pretty sweet as well.

This ships off tomorrow to its new home:

I like the black acrylic. I think folks would like it in addition to the mirror. The painted frame is a rarity. All of the painted ones are unique :)

Here's a very cool photo of Marko Kylmälahti's setup with a DSD Pro Sequential. Marco is an accomplished sim racing fan from Finland (a country to produce some very capable opponents! Cheers!

Hi Derek

Finally got Pbucket to work again. Space is an issue , but managed to squeeze it in the room nevertheless. Just waiting for the other velocity Bbox now.

Bend rod shifter is mounted a bit too low right now. But that will be solved in the future .

You should go into the options in iracing and check the "render 3 screens seperate" tab. Also type in the measurements that it ask for on the upper right of the same graphics option screen. You will have a much better picture in iracing.

Will try that, read already a post fromDerek about setting up bezel correction.
And saw he uses the seperate render screens too.
Have been struggling with the correction and this was the best I could get.

Thanks for the photos, RSwagoneer!

Yes, "Render Three Screens" will eliminate the stretching and give you a very nice three screen experience. Also make sure that you measure carefully your monitor width, physical edge to physical edge, and also measure your screen width edge to edge. Have someone help you with your viewing distance so you can zero in with that. Also carefully measure the angles of each of your side screens (a protractor is attached).

NB - I have my FOV +/- settings bound to some button presses so I can make minor adjustments car to car.

Once you have your screens properly setup, you'll see a remarkable difference to your racing fun!

Hey Derek, sorry for the OT, but I overlap my screens - what is the best way to calculate the width including bezel if my sides go behind the centre?

Divide the width of one bezel in readyfe's case. The outer bezels are not considered. For example, say you have a screen with 20mm bezels and you don't overlap them. In that case, you'd tell the sim that you bezels are 20mm and it would compensate for a 40mm gap from the center screen to the outer ones. If you overlap the screens, you'd tell the sim that your bezels were 10mm ;)

Hi Derek,

Tried it and it looks so much better now, but still in need of some finetuning.
The right side monitor looks a bit off compared to the left screen, though both have the same angle. Will try the bezelcompensation tip you gave readyfe , as it looks he has his screens the same way I have.

As for the buttonmapping, yes I too have FOV adjustment with the Rotary for minor adjustments. Love my velocity r5, though i few more buttons are Always welcome.

Hi All,

It's time to declare your independence...from the keyboard! If you don't have one of my great button devices, you need one. Reaching up to the keyboard and pressing keys when racing is so 1997. Get with the times and get some DSD buttons in your life!

To help you declare your independence from the act of hunting and pecking on the keyboard for just the right pit setting - when going 200 MPH...in a pack of 30 hungry wolves at Talladega - I'm pleased to offer up another one of my great button controllers. Below is the DSD Mini Max, and it has 4, two way encoders and 12 pushbuttons. It's compact, clean and looks the business (these sell in a matter of minutes when I put them up, BTW).

Thanks for letting me be part of your sim racing fun!

Hi folks,

I'm pleased to offer up another DSD Mini Max - and I told everyone we'd have another contest "soon"...at DSD, "soon" actually has some meaning ;) Anyhow, this one's a bit different, and we're running this on in the wild. Here's the prize:

Hi folks,

I have one DSD Mini Max r12 in Champagne Bronze. There are some who have the uber rare Champagne Bronze editions of my button controllers, and each one is most unique. There won't be another Mini Max with this exact configuration. That said, they go fast :)

HPIM1786.jpg

HPIM1787.jpg

It's offered for 120 USD and priced to move out fast. FREE worldwide shipping is included. To claim it, send the funds via paypal directly to orders@derekspearedesigns.com - this is for a new order only :) When it's claimed, the thread will be updated accordingly. If you do send the paypal, thank you, and please make a note here that you've claimed it in case there is a delay to when I can post :)

The dimensions of the Mini Max are the same as the FVS II, and the height is about 50mm from the top of the knobs to the underside. The DSD Mini Max r12 has one 12 position rotary selector switch, three 2 way rotary encoders, 6 push buttons, three 2 way toggles and two on/off toggles. It's packed with functions in a compact unit! You'll love it!

Thank you!

d

PS - here are some Champagne Bronze Velocities we've been fortunate to offer (these are in service):
