I want to find that interview (that had questions obviously taken from a GT forum) that mentioned drag racing. It was awhile ago but it still mentioned it

No there was a set of questions everyone had and among them were some drag racing questions that a gaming website basically pulled from the forum, and asked the questions during an interview with Kaz
No it was just a short question, followed by a dodging answer.

i'm not sure if their going to include it. Cause they haven't mention anything about it yet.
Since PD probably won't put it.
We'll just set up online drag races on the test course
No word on drag racing mode. (sigh)
I guess we will have to use the track editor and make our own drag strips. 💡

Timed runs at an airstrip is not drag racing. Not in my opinion anyway. The runway at the Top Gear Test Track will be used for timed runs like drag racing.

That is true then in GT2 we got two drag cars.Sorry if I keep nagging about the Infineon Raceway, but really, if they're gonna include that track in GT5, how hard can it be to let us drag race on it's drag strip and make the tree work!? Just simply make a sportsman tree with a .5 second interval between the yellow beams and then green - go! First across the finish line is the winner, simple as that!
What's ironic is that Kaz has mentioned drag racing for GT2, GT3 and then included a horrible version of the mode in GT4. Please PD and Kazunori, get it right this time around.
Yeah, and GT3 teased us with what pretty much looks like my beloved Infineon drag strip. You can clearly see the staging area with the commentator building in the background, and also a christmas tree. Why did they scrap these things? That is true then in GT2 we got two drag cars.
