This is a gentlemans series Teeds, and that I'm aware of no one cuts chicanes on propose to have some advantage.... All the others guys can confirm that, unless someone not so correct enter the series...

^ Pipi read rule 13.2 you failed to follow this rule when you signed up for DTM4, I think golfer was talking about that......

Hey guys, I just registered for the series, been following DTM 3 a bit over the season, and seeing as one of the series' I was in has been cancelled and I now have room for another series in the week, I decided to sign up for the next season of DTM. Not raced in DTM cars competitively yet so it should provide an exciting challenge and I hope to be racing with you guys soon. If I'm accepted into the series, hopefully I won't be told to "p***/**** off" by greennarcotics when I enter the room, like the last time I found myself in one of your rooms, mistakenly of course :sly:

Dont worry about re-registering if you didnt enter the code. You are still registered. It was just a way of seeing if everyone actually read all the rules or just the prominant ones. 3 out of 10 read all the way to the bottom.

Green changed to CLK. Didnt realise there were 3 M3's. Sorted now.

Goruk. Vauxhall or Opel, Astra or Calibra. The choice is yours. Yes i'm on your team again. Hope to provide a few more points than last couple of seasons though.

5 spaces left. 1 car in each team. Only top 2 cars from each team will score team points this season.

Qualifying - 20:30BST/21:30CET Race - 21:00BST/22:00CET

30 Laps (+ 1 Formation Lap)

Biffy and RacerPaul added but please, please read and understand the rules as you both failed the rule 13.2 test (dispite the massive hints above).
Main points are formation lap, pit windows, tyres and penalties. Enjoy the series and welcome to the DTM!
 
Ahh I see, good test with getting people to enter the code, I'll admit I did not read right to the bottom of Rules and Regulations but that's not to say I am going to be disrespectful of the rules you have for your series J_Turner. I am aware of the respect and skill needed to race properly in a series like this, and if you are not convinced, you can always use any of the Organisers of the series' I race in as a reference to my hygiene on the track.

Note: I ALWAYS read the full rules of every series I race in.. I just tend to do it after I have signed up :D
 
I don't remeber that but Sorry Biffy my bad thats why I don't normally host I get abit excited and kick anyone who's not registered. I do apologise if I offended you and for asking you leave in that manner. I also apologise to JT aswell for doing this while in his series these actions do not represent what DTM is about, It was just bad manners by me.
 
Not saying your a bad driver Biffy, its just the rules are quite compicated for a series and a lot of the time, at the start of the series, is spent trying to explain to people the rules and regs. Its a lot easier if drivers have a good understanding before the 1st race so that we can clear up any misunderstandings before the race start. We have had people turn up with only 1 set of soft tyres and another dqf'd after winning a race on softs.

We will always aim to start at 21:00, but sometimes there are connection issues which prevent that. I am going to insist on a 21:30BST max start time. That is the latest it should be for a start time.
 
So I guess it's time to create the banners and stuff. I may have some time tomorrow or are you already working on it JT?
 
I'm not working on it at the moment. Its a lot of work. Might just keep it simple this season. Unless you want to do them, its fine with me.

Edit: I did a new DTM logo by the way. Copyright GT5DTM...all original work this season.

Yeah I understand, I see it in every series and it always happens, where someone will come along and totally disregard the rules you have set in motion. I just wanted to assure you that I am not one of those people, and I will try to follow the rules to the best of my ability, and attend as many races as possible.

No problem, I wasn't bothered by it in any way, in fact I could understand it partly as some players in GT5 online are just plain ignorant, and won't listen no matter how blunt your instructions. Just be careful in the future however, because I know some people can easily get offended by the slightest swear word and could just use that as an excuse to badmouth the series, sometimes people are that uptight and judgemental. Nevermind, I have no quarrel with you, I just wanna race! :dopey:

Thanx man. Had a creative brain wave. Dont know where those pit windows came from. will fix that as soon as I'm back at my desktop!
 
I can vouch for Biffy. One of the best, clean racers on GTP. Don't be surprised if he blows away the field. I would be in as well, just start time I'm sitting in my car picking up my daughter from school. An hour later and I'd wanna be on Biffys team!
