Just watched the first race and uuuh... Very nasty impact for Dan. Wish him the best recovery and will be ready in time for Silverstone!

Matt Neal's done his finger, waiting for comfirmation from his doctor to see if he can race.

Aiden's passat

AMD missing Silverstone with Hollamby driving the Golf at Brands. Hope we have't seen the last of James Kaye :(

Didn't he do the same thing around this time of the season a couple of years ago?
Actually it's 3 years on the run now. 2011 he broke his thumb doing martial arts, last year he fell off his bike and broke his hand, and this year he did his finger in martial arts. He really needs to stop doing these things near the end of the season!

So Plato 2, everyone 0. Neal on pole with Sheds 7th. Game on for R3.

1 Andrew Jordan 366
2 Matt Neal 329
2 Colin Turkington 329
4 Gordon Shedden 322
5 Jason Plato 320
6 Sam Tordoff 248
7 Adam Morgan 199
8 Mat Jackson 175
9 Aron Smith 156
10 Rob Austin 154

Neal didn't pull a move, Tordoff thought that by pulling alongside him Neal would magically disappear. He clearly cut across Neal, and he hit him twice at Luffield. Feel terrible for Turkington, that rear track rod is a real weak spot for BMW. Realistically, if Jordan doesn't go mad, he's got this one in the bag. Roll on Brands!

Mat Jackson - £500 fine and three penalty points for incident with Colin Turkington in race three.

Adam Morgan - Reprimand for incident in race three.

Matt Neal - Reprimand and two penalty points for incident with Sam Tordoff in race three. Triple Eight has appealed against that penalty, with the appeal to be held at Brands Hatch.

From the other view it looked a lot different, even Harvey and Addison laid blame on Tordoff. Oh well, serves Tordoff right for trying to smash past Neal
I really don't like MG

Went to Silverstone yesterday for the British Touring cars. Entered the Ebay motors BTCC challenge and posted the 3rd fastest lap of the day 1:05.655 Even beat all 3 for the Ebay Motors Touring car drivers

I posted an 'unofficial' time of 1:05.212 which was the fastest lap of the day..... but wasn't counted as you have to come 1st place in the race AND post fastest lap time

Fantastic day though. Neal spinning out Tordoff happened right in front of where I was sitting :)

It's been announced this morning that Jake Hill is competing at Brands Hatch this weekend .... Taking the seat from Will Bratt in the second RAR Audi. I hope the youngster has a good, trouble free, Meeting :)

Hill's a decent driver, but RAR need someone like Jack Goff. If he can get top 10's out a still relatively crappy Insignia, in a race winning Audi he could do very well.

Matt Neal will be racing this weekend even with his injured finger. This is bad for two reasons. Number 1, Matt Neal will be racing, this is never a good thing. Number 2, Alain Menu would've been replacing him.

Aron Smith had an enormous crash in practice, rolling and sliding on his side down at Druids. He's ok but car is touch and go to get repaired...
